Fumble?

Ok, now that the emotion of the game is subsiding I am wondering - how in the world was that first fumble by Braxton not reviewed?  It seemed obvious that he did indeed fumble, but that he was laying on his stomach and able to scoop up the ball and bring it into his chest THEN he was hit by a diving player and had the ball stolen.  Did I see this wrong because it wasn't even reviewed?  What was that all about????

The first fumble should have been reviewed, and clearly Braxton fell on it. There goes a touchdown. Also of note, the punt that clearly hit the purdue player and was given to purdue after review with better field position. Despite the best attempts by fate, referees, and our offense today, the game was won.

That call should have been turned over in no time flat.  Not sure why the system failed there.

The punt looked like it hit Jamal Marcus first, and then the Purdue player, so that call seemed correct to me.

Maybe I'm just a homer but on the kick return for a TD looked like holding on the return team...The Purdue player was engaged wih a Buckeye player had his jersey, fell backward and held on while taking him to the ground.  Again maybe I'm a homer

I was driving home from the game and had 97.1 tuned in and got to listen to Hope's post game conference and he was complaining about the refs during the last drive before OT. He doesn't realize his team got away with a lot and the biggest no call was the missed horse collar on the play Braxton was injured.

Big 10 you are likely right.  There are many holds on almost every play if they see them or so it seems.  I also questioned the "Block in the Back" for the safety.  Seemed like he was engaged from the side a little as the defender pushed around him, but not so sure that you can call that a block in the back.  I thought that call ended the game for us.  Luckily I am just another dumb fan who doesn't know any better!  Go Bucks!!!

On the kickoff return for a TD there was a clear hold on whoever OSU has playing outside contain (cam williams?)

It was blatant.
