I was wondering if you guys thought that the freshman might get a little more playing time coming up because our schedule gets weaker? I personally would love to see more of Spence, Schutt, and Washington.

I'd like to see more of my guy DIESEL Washington. Hopefully we can put this week's game away early and see some younger guys get in there.

It all depends on the score.
There's been rumors of a difference of opinion between Meyer and Fickell and Vrabel. Meyer wants to see Spence and Washington rotated in alot more than they have been.

I would imagine we are going to see more of the Freshman DL this week. The last two weeks we played teams with big running games. The freshman are/were not as strong going up against the run right now so they were not a good fit.
Personally, I would like to see us rotate the linemen more often. I get that it is not done that way in the NFL but I would prefer to get the youngers guys some playing time.
After watching the game again last night I noticed schutt in the game on goal line.
As said previously, depends on the score. If we're up 35 points late in the 3rd, you'll see a ton of them, and no more of miller and co. Hopefully it happens because you never know when 1 injury, like Sabino, can have a huge impact
I wouldn't mind seeing the backup O linemen getting some time in (if the situation allows). I know they are not as highly rated as their defensive counterparts but we may need one or more of the to step up at a key time this season.
Buckeyes are 6-0 and have yet to play a great game on both sides of the football and for 60 minutes. I'd like to see the freshmen as well, but I'd rather see the starters come out and finally just bury an overmatched opponent.
I'd like to the Offense to bury the opposition early so that the backups can come in for quality PT just like they did in the Miami game. Hopefully, the Offense won't start slowly this week.
The schedule may look weaker, but depsite the outcome of the Nebraska game, this team can't afford to overlook anyone. If they do that, we could be in trouble. I would love to see the defense rotate the younger guys in to get them some much needed experience, but as others have said, it will probably depend on what is going on in the games.
I thought that since indiana was a really weak defensive team with a backup quarterback and an offense that loves to pass we might see a lot more of Spence and Washington
While I hope the Frosh get more reps it would be foolish to expect a blowout every week after seeing tOSU struggle with UAB just a few weeks ago. The offense has been inconsistent and the defense has struggled to get stops. Indiana is pretty bad and the Buckeyes should cruise but I think the main priority should be playing the starters as much as possible to ensure the system is running more smoothly down the stretch. I think we will continue to see Spence, Schutt, and Washington on the line and Perry at LB but on offense Dunn may be the only guy getting some reps.
Most of the freshman will receive PT by the end of the year as they are broke into the season as we reach the weaker conference play. Spence, Schutt, Washington, Perry, Perkins, Marcus, Reeves, Bogard, Dunn, M. Thomas, Decker, J. Boren will all have some solid playing time by seasons end, IMO.
