It sure does look good for him to be a Buckeye! And honestly, after taking in the Purdue game and all the excitement with the comeback and winning in overtime, as a high school kid watching all that unfold, it must've been pretty thrilling.
I can't see this kid being anything other than a Buckeye... Mich St. is having a brutal year and ND doesn't move the ball that well on offense. Plus... His friend Drew Barker doesn't seem to have any interest in ND and I see them playing college ball together once Barker is offered by OSU.
I've seen him play 3 times. Doesn't get a chance to showcase a whole lot because as a team, Springfield struggles. They struggle to get him the ball and have lost their QB for some games.
With the little he gets to show, he's very fast. More straight-line fast. Not aware of the kind of wiggle he has in open space.
While were on 2014, Raekwon's twitpic is from the Nebraska game I believe, with a bunch of OSU students wearing #Juice shirts. Gotta love being his number one when he has already been to CLemson and Georgia, and he's coming to OSU for the biggest game of the year. I know he says he isn't committing until the UA game, but I have a feeling he is the type of guy that will want to lead a class
haha did anyone else notice in Raekwon's twitter pic, the one with all the college letters, he put tOSU's letters on top of all the other schools, including tttun;) jus thought i'd give my 2 cents
Didnt have him pegged to be first but hey thats recruiting but great news and hes def all Buckeye. Hes been to 2 home game and the IU game and he wasnt there to watch the Hoosiers. Comparison-wise hes prob closest to Philly but has the advantage over Philly bc hes played WR his whole HS career. Also I know everyone wants Raekwon to be the ring leader but the talk of all them playing together started when he met Thad and Booker and hit it off. I think we see Thad take the reigns until Raekwon and Booker join the party and then we see this dream scenario really take off at least thats what im hoping.
He's a buckeye... little doubt in my mind especially since he just visited and was flat out blown away
I would love this commitment for three reasons
1) Dude can fly. Doesn't have insane height (but is 6'1" as a junior and could still have a few inches in him) but seems to show good "go up and get it" skills. Would be a SOLID start to the '14 class and would please the ohio hs coaches (do not underestimate this).
2) Thad is one of the recruits in this circle of '14 players that has popped up as friends in the social media world. He now has all sorts of time to get in the ears of the likes of Booker and Reakwon. Recruiting these days is like dominos... love to see that first one fall.
How in the world did I get a downvote for my comment above? Apparently we have some haters out there trolling for certain people's comments... Busch league if I may say so myself.
Instead of just blankly saying that "he doesn't look good on tape", how about actually contributing with some valuable content? Even if it is as simple as "he doesn't seem to have the ability to be really shifty, even though he has great straight line speed". Otherwise your commet is completely useless cause a) it is vague and b) I have no idea as to your knowledge of scouting and assume you are talking out of your butt.
I think his film shows off more how pretty mediocre the rest of his team is. He has fantastic straight line speed and if he can perfect that stop and go deep route he will burn through single coverage. I don't think he has the same shiftiness you see out of '13 recruits Marshall or Jacobs, but he's got pretty good hands and a descent grasp on basic route running.
No, but comments like "He doesn't look special on tape" are just ridiculous. You are talking down on a highly ranked (most likely) future buckeye and should have to provide something a bit more than that.
I'm no recruiting expert, and never claim to be, but I don't make blanket statements about a recruit without any sort of explanation.
i hope we get him.... anyone the staff feels good enough about this early im a fan. being friends with booker and mcmillan doesnt hurt anything thats for sure
snodgrass is worth the offer the staff evaluated him up close when few if any could guard him. he, mcmillan, and booker have become close the one i think that will be tougher to get but not out of the realm of possibility at all will be garrett.
The group he is tight with could be monumental in the class. Demetrious Knox was very interested in his commitment. Throw in McMillan, Booker, Garrett and Myles and it could be an amazing class.
As much as it is about his group of friends, it's momentum as well with the way recruiting has accelerated nationwide. Several schools have already notched multiple verbals for 2014 and we want to keep pace, while still taking top talent. I don't know about everyone else, but it seems like they'll be fewer and fewer mysteries with this 2013 class in about six weeks with the way this year's recruiting year has gone and I expect 2014 to be even faster.
If Snodgrass and Booker both pull the trigger to OSU I think we could see a committment train coming. However, I do think the key to jumpstarting this class will be securing a QB who wants to help recruit for his team. Once those QB offers go out, and one of Barker or Henderson commits (hopefully) that's when this class will really start to come together
Tremendous player. I think I remember OSU, MSU, and ND being at the top of his list.
Doesn't hurt that he visited last week, plus the Cal game according to Alex's list.
I seriously can't see Snodgrass going anywhere else!
Sounds good to me!
Any 247 users out there?
what's he rated?
He will commit next Friday!
Dang, I knew I should have taken Snodgrass in my office 2014 commit pool.

Sources are saying Buckeye.
F--- Michigan!
I thought he was a Domer but now that Drews sources say Buckeye he must be a lock
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I'm thinking Buckeye.
Derek keif? rated 3 spots ahead of thad. Are we going hard for him too?
All Buckeye. He's been all Buckeye since Day 1!

Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Snodgrass communicates a lot with Raekwon over Twitter. It can't hurt.
Its looking like another top 5 class for 2014

3) THAT NAME! Gotta love it.
Cause I couldn't go for three
not sure where I saw it but - Thaddeus "The Monocle" Snodgrass has a nice ring to it

I love what the sources are saying!
If it makes you feel better I was one of the 3 who upvoted
He doesn't look special on tape
Follow me @jaythesportsguy
I don't really care about the votes... Just thought it was crazy when I didn't say anything controversial or negative. Appreciate the vote tho.
may not look great on tape to you but def uncoverable against top kids in his class in camps he was in this year

Geez, I didn't know we had to be scouting experts to state our opinions in here.

Just a bit of basic recruit forum ettiquette.

"Just a bit of basic recruit forum ettiquette" Wow I never heard of this. I better mind my manners....What a bunch of Bull!!!

Buckeye for a while now, IMO.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Hasn't he been to just about every Buckeye game?
The group he is tight with could be monumental in the class. Demetrious Knox was very interested in his commitment. Throw in McMillan, Booker, Garrett and Myles and it could be an amazing class.

Would be surprisd if he's not a Buckeye
I think Booker might pull the trigger soon after if Snodgrass commits to OSU. Just my opinion.

247 saying he plans to visit ND November 3rd regardless of his decision
