"Attack the Strong, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead!"
-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
that Pace picture is rawwwwww
Not even sure who the Buckeye player is but this is such a great picture.
Insert witty remark
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
The Eddie Gerge running away from Notre Dame pic.
"As long as we're keeping score, we're gonna try to win this thing." - UFM
I love this picture because I can almost hear Lamarr Woodley yelling, "GET THAT MOTHERF*****!!" and of course because this photo caputures the moment where the tide turned and we began a 7 year run of dominance against the UofM.
Sorry Hail, but this one's pretty timeless:
I love that one of Mo: "My ball thank you very much"
@hodge, I'm so happy I wasn't alive then. It boils my blood now just thinking about it. I love to see that kind of stuff, though, adding fuel to the rivalry. We need some more of that behavior.
@william That looks familiar
Hail, I was thinking you might like the picture of Desmond running away with the Heisman or Charles Woodson with the rose.... I see you went the safe route as to not stir the pot.
Even though we lost and it was way before my time, I love this one.
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. ~ Bruce Lee
Woodson & Desmond - perhaps 2 greatest Ttun's - Ohio born & bred.
There is no U of M without Ohio.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Jack Tatum & Jim Stillwagon
this is fantastic. it is impossible to pick a favorite.
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
Not a player, but still.
Emotional rollercoaster game = epic pics

There are some real cool pics of Gradishar somewhere, really like all posted pics, even Hail's. Pam, do you know where I can find Gradishar pics ? saw a few on Bplanet but still searching, late, cowboy!
@AGL - Randy Gradishar
Doesn't get any better than a nice Spielman picture.
That krenzel crowd surf is beautiful.
don't know how i really feel about the Dorsey pic. The dude had just lost a huge game and already felt bad enough......wait a sec...do i have a soul now?
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
I love the Krenzel crowd surf because Tom Cousineau is like a Wheres Waldo (about an inch and a half to the right of Craigs head in the picture). I was also right in the middle of it as Jay Richardson, who is right next to him, inadvertantly punched me right in the back of the head and he actually apologized in the middle of all the chaos. Good times.
That Otis pic is sweet. The game it was taken in however...
@BUCKEYEBROWNY - I'm pretty sure that was Wilhelm being gracious in victory. Dorsey was on the ground, and Wilhelm went over and consoled him for a few seconds, at least that's what the SI caption said.
@BUCKSFAN - That photo is beautiful. Stunning composition.
hodge: well then i feel better about it then! lol great pic
David Boston anyone? Beasttttt
How about some Keith Byars in flight:
Because it just happened this year!
I saw a UFO once.......it told me to have a goodyear!
this was my computer background for years...
the kids are playing their tail off, and the coaches are screwing it up! - JLS
Gotta love that man crush
Thanks, Hodge. Just found that today whenl I went searching for shots of him in the Rose Bowl. The sky that day was unreal.

~Because we couldn't go for three~
Dane, doing Dane stuff.
"Okay -- I've got an El Camino full of rampage here."
Corby Jones introduced to Andy Katzenmoyer: I know the quality is bad...couldn't find any really good pics of it, (provided the video link to youtube). Credit to SHATRICKTONES for reminding me of this play; that pic of the Big Kat he posted was taken on the pre-snap of this de-cleater...
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
^I just watched a clip of that hit like 2 seconds ago lol. Obligitory Dumas SMASH!
I'm a fan of the "Super Genius"
Haha my bad MODs, figured that was a bad pic to post.
Heres a different one.
Brotherly (In law) love.
@ Buckfutter. Notice Herbie in the background of that photo. No one should give him shit for being fake or not a true buckeye. Still saddens me that he moved.
Edit: my favorite photo(s) are my avi
They caught him in space.

Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless.
Some good memories.
It's good to be home.
How in the heck does a Speilman picture get a down vote? Blasphemy !!
Take another look at the basketball picture of Oden Dunking. Did you see the reaction of the OSU players on the bench? Lol. :O
Maestro: I accidently hit the down arrow and this system won't let me revote.
That gets an upvote from me 703. Good man !!

this thread needs to be permalinked somewhere
Shocked this one hasn't made it in yet...I love the backround too. "Road Game" my ass. I was there and in the endzone Mike caught the ball in....No way that was an away game.
Rex Kern & John Brockington
@brew...third one down, just a wider shot.
You know, some of the pictures aren't coming up for me. I meant to put a disclaimer in my comments and got too wrapped up in the awesomeness that was that moment in time.
Apologies to whoever did post it as about %20 of the pics aren't loading for me
well that sucks, they are all awesome. fwiw, the close up is a little better imo.
Kareem beat me to the definitive SAoJ pic.
Someone must have mis-clicked on that Spielman downvote.
I remember this SI cover photo of Bruce Jankowski's catch of a touchdown bomb as being one of the first to try to capture the excitement of what everyone had seen on video.

Byars beats Illini, and only needs one shoe to do it!

I love that tattoo. Once a Buckeye always a Buckeye
2006. he was ready
I like football
Does anyone have a shot of the final play of the 2002 NC game? I have a framed print of it hanging at home and every time I see Cie Grant getting ready to come off the corner and take down Dorsey it makes me smile.
Beautiful! Thx Highwire!
Here's another...no problem!
