Just read on twitter per ESPN that Dorian Said " I've got to give it to Ohio State, i've never seen anything like that (atmosphere) before". He is planning a return visit for The Game.
Looks like he found out what Buckeye Nation is all about and our fans really showed him. Getting him back for another game, especially against our biggest rival, I would say is a huge plus for us.

Great to hear, and those are the best two games he could come to if we want to impress him.
He couldn't have picked 2 better games to come and see
Still not so sure about him but it would be insanely hard to say no to Urban in the locker room following a sound wolverine beat down and celebrating a perfect 12-0 year.
If I had to pick one target Dorian would be the guy. Any positive news about him is always welcome.
This is huge. I love Ohio State and with Urz rock style we will get the big guns!
How Firm Thy Friendship....
This weekend was an unbelievable success from a recruiting standpoint as kids like Johnson who we were ready to give up on have now seen the light its gonna be a wild finish. Btw from what ive read Johnson's family were blown away from the experience which doesnt hurt.
Glad to hear. I think if WHEN we beat scUM, he will have to commit to us sooner or later, if not, then good bye to him. Because attending the Nebraska game & scUM game & not committing after, what else he need to see?
#Buckeyes
Awesome. I would love to land this kid
How many times do you whiff on a kid, only to have him circle back to you...
Come to Columbus, Mr. Johnson, come to Columbus...
"The revolution will be televised."
Jared Shanker (ESPN Midwest) says that he still thinks DJ will go to Pitt, but hopefully his 2nd visit will push him all the way over the edge to OSU!
It really help both Pitt and Vt are having down years
Was this his official or unofficial?
Sounds like he was almost regretful in sayinbg he had to give it to Ohio State...IDK just dont like our chances just yet...
That crowd for The Game is going to be out of this world too. Especially if the team is 11-0 and has a big game. Along with Tressel and the 2002 team being honored. That's a game I want to be at.
After 2013 all of our current OL starters will be gone. Granted we have talented players in the wings like Dodson, Decker, and Lilse but we are in desperate need of OL depth. Gotta be a selling point from Meyer to Johnson.
Holy, I think you are forgetting about some guys. Jacoby Boren the future center. Pat Elflein, Joey O'connor and Darryl Baldwin with Chase Farris who are already on the 2 deep. there is talent since last years recruits.
With that said, Dorian Johnson really does need to come on board. Lisle and Gardner isn't enough for one class. Even if Price moves to Oline or Munger comes on board and becomes Oline himself.
@Bucknutz, I agree with this part of your post:
but not this part:
This is what it looks like when people change their minds reluctantly. The comment you refer to suggests that he came to OSU out of a sense of due diligence rather than enthusiasm, but the Nebraska game opened his eyes. Now he's coming back for The Game. I'm far from counting him in this class, but if the Buckeyes keep rolling this season and finish off the year with a big win against michigan while he's in the stands, OSU will definitely have his attention. Couple that with the fact that Urban's got nothing to do but recruit as soon as the final whistle blows against michigan, and I like our chances a lot.
Why in the hell would any kid want to go to a miserable program who LOST TO MY HOMETOWN YSU PENGUINS? Pitt vs Ohio State for a full ride scholarship to play football isn't even close no matter what team you're a fan of.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
I'm betting he realizes that Ohio State is probably the best place that he could land, but that he's hated OSU his entire life. It's not really uncommon for people in the Western Pennsylvania area to hate Ohio State, I'm thinking that he's having a hard time coming to grips with that.
Just my opinion, though; I could be completely wrong. It has happened once before.
@OurHonorDefend09
Matters what ge feels is more important. If you want to win, have a chance at a national title, big in a big time program... then OSU is the better option.
If you want to be close to family, still have just as good of a chance to go to the NFL, immediate starting time... then Pitt is the better option.
Not an easy choice it you value proximity to family.
ourhonordefend,
Because Pitt is a great school. I get your point though, it would make more sense if it were Stanford or Duke, but Pitt?
It is all about getting to the league and the relationship with coaches. OSU has put a lot of linemen in the league but so has Chryst. If he has a better relationship with the Pitt staff then that's probably where he is going to go.
I think, if he actually is in attendance for The Game, OSU will be very hard to turn down. I'm not in his head though...
Just curious, but does anyone think he could wind up going back to PSU? It doesn't seem likely now, but I'm hearing a lot of praise for BOB.
If it's down to us and Pitt, I like our chances more and more with each passing day. Urban and 2012 team are giving him a lot to think about, and he wants to come back for a second visit. Call me cautiously optimistic.
I doubt PSU is an option...
