I know this is an OSU site but I couldn't help but wonder what anyone thought of this if you saw it. I myself was 12 at the time and just could barely understand what was going. I myself was amazed that the Browns were seemingly so close to winning a Superbowl to only have it ripped away. What did you all think?

I was 2 when it happened. Having read about it for years I can't imagine what Cleveland was like when it was announced the Browns were being moved. I know a lot of people that won't be able to watch the documentary, just because of how angry it will make them. Simply put Art Modell was a tool.
Can't bring myself to watch it.

I'm surprised of the lack of Kirk Ferentz jokes here. He was on the coaching staff when the team was ripped away, so it's no surprised Cleveland has sucked since then. IT ALL MAKES SENSE! WE'RE MISSING THE GREATEST COACH IN ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING SINCE EVER!!! HE GETS PAID MORE PER WIN THAN ANY OTHER COACH IN THE B1G!!!!! (among bowl-eligible teams. Seriously. He's the 2nd-highest paid coach in the B1G. He makes more than Fred Flintstone. I wish I was kidding.)
"I like to kick Michigan's ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."
It was very well done. The Browns were sort of like a professional version of the Cradle of Coaches all masterminded by Belichick. Considering he has been to 5 Super Bowls and Ozzie Newsome to 1 and possibly the Falcons to 1 this year, it would have been amazing to see what might have been had they not left.
I had forgot about the final home game against the Bengals. The referees having to stop at the 50 yard line and go away from the Dawg Pound was hilarious! The fact they were tearing out seats and throwing them on the field is not shocking.

We were at the last game. It was phenomenal! Watching the Dawg Pound passing large strips of seating across the section, then down to the lower seats, then throwing the strips onto the field was classic 'team work'. They did this over and over again throughout the game. We ended up with taking our seats home. There were some people that had seating strips with as many as 7 seats long. With no tools to unscrew the seats, it was another example of team work with the added dimension of team spirit. The atmoshere was both electric and depressing. You could almost feel the ghosts of past players weeping. Very, very sad. It is a day I will never forget.
@Buckz4evr did you get any part of the stadium to take home?
Nope. Can't do it. Still too soon. Some wounds never fully heal.
Pittsburgh Buckeye. Yes, we left with 2 seats. As I stated in my post, we saw one group of people with a strip of 7 seats. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. Most of the people leaving had something in their hand, at least in our section near the Dawg Pound. We were lucky enough to have this big, burly guy sitting behind us help rip our seats out. Mind you, noone had any tools and people all around us were seperating the seats mostly by kicking them apart. I take that back...I saw one guy w/ one of those pocket knives that had tools attached. It was unbelievable. Security and cops were all around and did absolutely nothing to stop us.
One other thing that made this game really weird was the picture on our tickets, which showed the Bengals playing the Baltimore Colts. That led to the urban legend that Modell knew months before the game he was leaving. Did he? Who knows.
