I saw in several places today where OSU offered '14 Athlete Myles Autry from Norcross, Ga. He is a life long OSU fan & OSU was his dream school. He is listed@ 5'9 175.
He tweeted this today. "S/o To OHIO STATE For Offering ! #Salute #SilverBullets #GoBuckeyes #DreamTeam #1 #TheShoe . Excited !"

Staff, what're the chances we land this kid?

I just asked my 8 ball, told me chances are good.
He said osu will for sure make his top 3
That is what I heard as well, no matter what well be top 3... but it only matter if we are #1 ;)
He told another follower "dont worry" when they said they would hope to see him in the S&G. I think we have a pretty good shot at getting this kid.
Just watched this kids film. Hes pretty good, he is fast and has incredible balance.
Longtime reader, first time poster, so, uh... hi guys. Good to be a part of the best CFB blog out there, and one of the best forum communities out there.
As for Autry, well, he's been retweeting a number of people who say that OSU is his dream school, so I imagine we'll be in pretty good shape, if and when the offer becomes committable. At 5'9'', what position does everyone see him lining up at?

Gotta think slot, little too short for safety or cornerback in my opinion at 5'9"
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
The RB/slot positions are gonna fill fast I'd think. You have to think they'd be looking for a power rusher also, maybe that's where they want Hurd
Heres a good read

thanks Buckeye Empire!

Probably in the slot. Urban will find some way to get him on the field.
Pretty cool that he said OSU is his dream school and that he doesn't have a list yet, but OSU will be the top school.
WAY too early... but looks like we'll be in the thick of it
Cause I couldn't go for three
Def a good read, thanks nuts!
I'm assuming that the 2013 class will end up with 24 banking one of the scholarships for next year (due to attrition #s of late and Cardale's going too join them...bank that). I'm basing this on all the talent all over the map for 2014 class that Meyer and company are targeting. If OSU goes 12-0 or 11-1...not to mention what could happen in 2013 season. LOOK OUT folks for the 2014 class if all this happens or is even remotely close. It could be absolutely sick...can you say a version of the Miami Heat on a larger scale and at OSU. I think I can handle that...

"I love football. I think it is most wonderful game in world and I despise to lose."
Woody Hayes 1913 - 1987
Cardale will be back next year...bank that. Urban said Cardale actually is excelling in the classroom so far, and he deleted his twitter account. Cardale is here to stay for at least one more year
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Curious to see what the emphasis of the 2014 class will be (ex. 2012 = The lines, LB; 2013= speed on O, secondary). I imagine it'll be O-line for certain, and finding Braxton's successor. Otherwise, with Urban having had 2 years to really address our depth issues, I think 2014 is the first year we really see Urban take players almost exclusively on talent instead of need, if that makes sense (which is why I would rather we bank extra schollies for next year). Of course, it's easy to be that optimistic before we get beat for a prospect. Anyone have thoughts on the future of our recruiting?
