So, and I really hope this does not happen, but say at the end of the year the only two undefeated teams are Alabama and Notre Dame. I'm not saying this is likely or predicting this, but just asking a what if predicated upon that scenario.
So who do you root for if they play in the championship game? Another SEC championship, with chants of "S-E-C, S-E-C" raining down along with red and white confetti or a, gulp, resurgent Notre Dame nation? Which is worse?
If the B1G gets slaughtered in game after game on New Year's Day, which may very well happen again this year (thanks, rest of the conference), can the B1G afford another SEC win with playoffs on the horizon? Would the perceived SEC strength of schedule simply be so high that three SEC teams make it every year? Woudl a break in the chain help?
Or, is it worse to watch the Golden Domers return to glory at the same time they believe they snubbed the B1G for the ACC?
I would root for Notre Dame, but need to take about six showers after I finished my two bottles of scotch. What are your thoughts?

ND - I'm done with the sec.
One a side note there was nothing better than the mock sec chant after the sugar bowl.
Notre Dame. I'm biased because I like ND (pops went to school there), but even stepping back, someone's gotta dump the SEC before we all go crazy.
Whew... that would be hard... I hate ND. But I'm tired of the SEC. Facts are... if that happens ND is going to get killed, ala OSU against LSU and Florida (Sorry, but it happened, it didn't make me smile)
SEC. Notre Dame can hurt our recruiting more than SEC team.
That's like asking who to vote for in the elections and I don't talk politics! YUCK.
I do not like Notre Dame but that is based on the fact that they usually are ranked based off of prestige not talent and they are a catholic bandwagon team. Those brady Quinn years they had no reason to be in BCS discussions. However, as hard as it is for me to admit they are a talented team this year. There defense is very good and for some reason I like Golson, he dosent put up gaudy stats but hes a gamer type.
I also think that if they do get there they will deserve it based n their strength of schedule. Alabama plays no one outside of the SEC, which is inflated as always, but ND isnt afraid to play solid teams
I agree with Ausmos. If the SEC wins its nothing new. IF ND wins, then we might lose some more recruits to the Irish
