Don't get me wrong I love Carlos, and maybe we just need to have Jordan Hall back, but I feel as though when we run the read option we need to have someone who can get a huge run just like Braxton. Whenever Braxton pitches it to Carlos we can only get 3-4 yards tops. If you ever watch the Oregon offense either Mariota or Thomas can go for a huge run. I think with Zeke in the system either next year or the year after to make this option play work even better. I also think that this will work in our favor because while Urban claims that we are a power spread team I think moving to a slightly smaller faster team will be good in the future especially in the BIG. I know everyone claims that you need big bruising backs in the BIG, but it seems having Braxton being our main running threat anyway and he is by no stretch a big guy it seems to be working well. I'm obviously no expert, but just a a casual observer. I'd love to hear what more experienced football players/fans think about this, but I think we can all agree that there needs to be some playmakers to at least take the pressure off of Braxton in the middle of the field. Thoughts?

I'm pretty pleased with Hyde (and Rod Smith with an amazing TD as I type) and Hall. I'm certainly excited about Zeke, but I think we're fine for this year.

Zeke is good but I agree with 703. May not have to rush him. He will do good when his opportunity arises. Im sure he understands that and works on his strength and conditioning. Whats the scoop on Dunn by the way?
Hyde has excellent vision, and he pounds the ball for extra yards on nothing plays. I definitely like him as one of our two starting RBs (this sort of offense works best if you can switch them in and out).
carlos? whats wrong with carlos hyde? had a career night?
