PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Why is he wearing that? Embarrassed to say I have never noticed it before but that looks like it matches Penn States unis more than ours.
Yeah he's clearly wearing that to show off. I mean really you don't like the individualism? I'm always amazed at the things people seem fit to complain about.
You like it? There may be a reason he has it on that I am not aware but again Ive not noticed it before and 2 it does not go well with the uni at all. And 3 what happens when everyone else chooses their own color scheme. Hopefully its not for his arm cause if it was that would be another reason to ditch it.
I like Braxton and I want to see him continue to develope cause he has lots to work on.
Personally I don't. I also didn't care that he wore it. In other words I view it as inconsequential to why I watch football.
Hey!! Are we talking about clothes or are we talking about RUM? Because the rum is probably more interesting to discuss than why a 20 year old made a fashion statement. How's the Kraken spiced rum?
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
The Rum is good. Now ya know. How bout them Buckeyes.
JohnBlair I accidentally down voted you make 2 post and Ill make it up
@Waycracken--from what I understand it was specifically designed a year or two ago for OSU. Other guys on the team have worn it this year. I agree that it looks ugly, but disagree that it matters at all haha.
I cannot believe he would wear that!? O--M--G, that does NOT go together!!! Did he watch the Paris fashion show this weekend and think he could get away with that outfit. Ladies, please, nuh uh!
It's supposed to look like the bark of the buckeye tree if I recall correctly.
@waycracken. Would the Under Armour be an issue if Ryan Timmons wore it?
A few of the O-line guys wore them for the Nebraska game. I personally like them, I think the pattern is cool.
Woah, guys, JDADAMS is right. That is leftover pro-combat gear from last year. Supposed to resemble the bark of a tree. Are all you guys freshmen or something? Short memories.
WTH make wisecracks at me. I do not care. But believe me including someone innocent of any of this is hogwash but I imagine I might be presenting that argument to some immature person. Believe me your only talkin about a future Buckeye that has no dog in this criticism. I guess my time on 11w has come and gone.
@ waycracken. My apologies, didn't mean to offend you or anyone else. Just seems like a silly discussion after a big win in Happy Valley.
I don't want to knit pick but i did notice how the shirt from the old pro-combat unis didn't really match or look good, but it wasn't a big deal. Just thought it looked like some sort of hunting camo, ugly.
Not a big deal. Same thought process as baseball. When its under 70 at game time, every pitcher in the pen has sleeves on to keep the arm warm and loose. Who cares if it doesn't "match his outfit"? Just be happy your QB isn't tearing elbow ligaments.
I like it, and think it brings a unique appearance. Not saying I need to see it every game, but it's a cool change of pace.
He can wear a trenchcoat under his pads for all I care.
but yeah it is ugly
Has he been wearing it since we wore those uniforms? That was the game where he threw the hail mary pass to Devin Smith to beat Wisconsin. Maybe he's superstitious?
This is actually the first time I've ever seen him wear that.
Havent alot of the linemen been wearing similar UA gear for the early season games? I remmeber thinking they were all tats but it looked like some sort of patterned UA shirt.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
I like it..
I thought the under shirt looked good. His arms looked like tree stumps. I didn't like the black cleats though. I thought the scarlet and gray shoes make him look/run faster. :)
