When I watch Braxton play the same thing always comes to mind. "DAMN he just did that. To think he's only a sophomore." Kid is explosive and only going to get better with experience and understanding reads.
I can't wait to watch this. I have been waiting for a highlight video after every game. Imagine what his highlight film will look like once he plays for 3 or 4 years. Its going to be 30 minutes long!
Am I the only one who has though countless times this year Braxton was making moves on what appeared to be no one only to watch some unseen defender whiff on a tackle? I swear he is the most instinctive runner I've ever seen at OSU.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
If he could make some of his reads that instinctively, then he would be even more dangerous. For example, when he's running, he seems to be able to read some defenders and completely make them whiff. Now he just needs to carry that instinct over to reading DEs on option plays.
I'm glad someone finally put a highlight video together for Braxton. It helps him get the exposure he needs by finally giving more people who know nothing more than his stats a chance to see what he can do.
When Meyer says he accelerates as quickly as anyone he has ever coached, you can see it. Stop and full throtle right now. Amazing talent and so much fun to watch. Terelle who?
My father in law and I were watching the Nebraska/OSU game together and he kept saying.."damn, that guy is good" "geez, no one can stop that guy, he's soo fast" etc etc.
Keep in mind that he doesn't know who Braxon is and is not the type to compliment players or ohhh and ahhhh. I found it pretty funny.
Great highlights of Braxton but on a side-note couldnt help listening to the music and thinking what the theme music for TOSU defense whould be and this came to mind.. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg
"GIMMIE THAT BEAT FOOL!!! IT A FULL TIME JACK MOVE" Ice Cube jack for beats..
This offense will be amazing next year with Brown and Smith having more experience and Braxton throwing it at a high level (it can be argued he is doing that now). Once defenses have to respect the passing game fully the output from Braxton will be insane!
man #6 from cal had a BAD day that day, braxton shatters his ankles but he plays through the pain only to get burned on a blown coverage by devin smith
The thing I like most about Braxton is not all of the gaudy numbers and slick moves he puts on opposing players, but his ability to stay humble and not brag and boast about how great he is. Seems like a very likable kid all around. Unlike some other QBs we used to have.
"Here officer, hold my beer while I find my license."
@ Buckeyedude i agree he is very humble, but he isn't lacking confidence either which I like. i remember when they were doing that piece on him for college gameday and he said " If its me and a defender 1 on 1 in the open field for first down. I'll get that 10 out of 10 times." Kid is just a gamer and loves to make big plays.
I think he is averaging 25 yds when they run that QB counter play. If Brax keeps playing like this and the Bucks go 12-0 he should win the Heisman. I don't care if the can't win their conference championship or play in a bowl game or if he is a sophmore. He is flat-out one of the best players in CFB and thats who is supposed to get the Heisman, the best player in the country.
Can we also get a blocking highlight reel for Corey Brown? That dude blocks better than most NFL wide outs. Boren and Hyde put people on their asses too.
He just makes guys look silly. Man does he have some moves
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
Thanks for sharing, Alex. Braxton is such a joy to watch, and I can't wait to see how much he grows over the next few seasons.

Man you could field the "All-American Air Tackling" team from these highlights.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
The dude has some ridiculous shake... wow!
Remember that in the end you will be judged not by what you believed, planned or dreamed; but, by what you did.
RIP those defenders ankles
His ability to change direction/make a move at speed is just riduiculous
And those highlights are from his first six games under a new HC, OC, and QB coach.

I cannot wait to see this kid next year....we may not get a 4th season so enjoy it while it lasts
Two words: Man Crush.
Seems like everytime this offense needs a spark Braxton goes off for a 50+ yard TD run. The man is unreal.

circle...triangle!! turbo!! i laughed out loud numerous times.. this is ridiculous.. thank god he plays for us!!!!!!
I like football
Wow. Even better than I remembered. I am already starting to miss him whenever he gets drafted/graduates.
Crazy this is only half a season of highlights
Braxton could fill an entire SCTop Ten plays by himself.
Just ridiculous and I'm so glad he plays for the good guys!
Once he gets better at reads, it's GAME OVER.

WOW, the way he hops to the side looks exactly like a video game!
:29-40 against CaL
2:01-2:15 against Nebraska
2:58-3:02 against UAB
Some of the best moves i've seen.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

Hey, who put up Duron Carter's XBOX 360 highlights?

Love the highlight reel! Awesome!
Anyone else notice how much more effective our O-line plays in this scheme? And #44 is in the mix on almost all of those highlights.
Damn I like this UFM guy.
GO BUCKS!
The kid is un-freaking-believable. I know I've seen all those plays, but to see them one after another is amazing.
I'm drafting him 1st round in my fantasy league whenever he enters the league

In the NFL? Why? He might not ever be a starting QB in the league.
