The rumblings are saying with a new athletic director (Eichorst) and high expectations coming into the season (see 63-38 loss and unranked team), the cornhusker faithful might want to see a new coach at the end of the year.
My opinion of the team from Saturday's game? The offense is filthy good. Frankly, they didn't have to pass, they were so good at getting us out of position and our linebackers were no match for both martinez and abdullah running the ball. I don't blame them for trying to pass on us, it worked in the second half, but they quickly learned to throw to the big hefties that weren't covered by our secondary. On the other side of the ball, oh boy, lots of work to be done. they let us run all over them, if you want to see a GOOD defense, call Mark Dantonio. We made JUST enough plays to beat them.
I predict a new defensive scheme / d coordinator. Bo Pelini is the master of momentum ball and getting the ball moving on offense. (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1365967-nebraska-football-is-john-papuchis-in-over-his-head)

If they win out (not an unreasonable proposition) they will play in the Rose Bowl. Now they could lose 2-3 more games instead in which case he will have a very hot seat.
Re: Nebraska's success at passing in the second half-
I think it was their first drive the passed pretty much the whole drive and earned a touchdown. That worried me a little bit, but soon Taylor Marinterceptionez returned to his former glory.
As far as Pelini goes, if Nebraska gets a shot at the conference championship I'd say he'll be fine. If not, crap shoot.

I'd be shocked if they let Pelini go, considering where they were when he rolled in 5 years ago (something like this).
Their remaining schedule...

vTTUN
@MSU
vPenn State
vMinnesota
@Iowa
I see 5 W's, he'll stick around and hire a new coordinator and assistants.

Pelini has a sideline manner that ruffles feathers too. Some of the Nebraska faithful certainly take offense to him screaming into the facemask of his players. I have no problem with it unless it goes to Brian Kelly land. If he wins it is fine. If not, look out.
I know Pelini tweeted out after the game asking whether anyone knew if the new AD had ABC at home, so clearly he was worried about his job status at the time.
(This was from a parody account, FauxPelini, which is brilliant and worth a follow for you Twitter users)
Personally I think he should be worried. Nebraska has dropped sooo far off the map as far as national relevancy that they are going to make some moves in an attempt to get back up there. Unfortunately, college football now being powered mostly in the Southeast and Nebraska not exactly being a pipeline of high school football talent means that Nebraska may never see the success that it has in the past.
