Basil and Special Teams

I made a thread here a couple weeks ago asking why Basil wasn't kicking the ball into the endzone, and agonizing over the short corner kicks.

I'd officially like to apologize to Mr. Basil (because I'm sure he has the time to read the forum posts of a random guy from Ohio), and King Meyer. I shouldn't have doubted your collective greatness. Kickoff coverage was brutal tonight (in a good way), as was Special Teams in general.

Especially with the new rule of bringing the ball out to the 25 I think it can be a lot more advantageous to not kick it in the end zone.

kickoff coverage was very good for the most part. Just one bad return allowed but on the most part, stuck them deep in their own side of the field a lot. No blocked kicks tonight though. That has been common lately. Wasn't necessary for once thank goodness!
