BTN aired parts of the post game presser.
Meyer was talking about how the O steps up when the D is down and vice versa, then he said:
"We win as team, we.... we win as a team"
It was pretty obvious he was going to say "we win as a team, we lose as a team", very funny.
Lighten up everyone, this game was 5 plays from being a 35 point win. This isn't the silver bullets we are used to, but the O doesn't shoot blanks like we are used to.

That is the truth...everyone is upset about the defense but when have we ever saw this offense...and with a first year coach...awesome.
Good points. it's hard to accept this play as reality though. I think that is why everyone is so worked up. It just doesn't seem like buckeye football. Defense has always been a staple of TOSU and the B1G. Oh, how things are changing.
Just think if he is able to put together an offense AND a defense like what he had at Florida during that run? Scary good for something like that to be here in the Big Ten!
Tress was 7-5.... just saying. Things can be very different next year.
Also, thank you for starting a positive thread, unlike pretty much every other thread started tonight.
I want to step back on the ledge! :)
If Roby doesn't give up on the first onside kick, IU doesn't score EITHER of the last two touchdowns. If Devin Smith keeps his eyes on the ball, we get 14 more points. If Braxton doesn't make an ill-advised throw, that's 7 more points for us, 7 less for them. And if we would actually look at their punt defense and make audible adjustments, they maybe don't score on that drive, either.
That's five plays right there. That's 21 points WE left on the field, and 28 points that we gave them. This is an obvious oversimplification, but we were legitimately five stupid, fixable mistakes away from this game being 73-21.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
@CC nice post... It just makes me think how bad ass this team will be when the coach's & players finish putting it all together
@highwire your on a roll & recieve my upvote
O H I O is the Buckeye State
Yup and if Devin Smith didn't drop his consistent one TD a game...He's actually pretty lucky our depth is so thin at the WR position or he'd be in the doghouse next to Rod Smith.

It's not.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I think people need to look at Florida's 2007 D. They gave up 25 PPG or so and were awful on D; in 2008, those same guys were DOMINATE. With the offense, the D just has to get better and be good, not great.
