Any bets on if we finish with one more win (against Illinois) or pack it in like last year and finish 7-5?
I *think* we can beat Illinois, but we will have to see how our new-look rush-heavy offense works under Guiton.
If we can recruit some LBs and respectable WRs I think we will get back on track next year.

I think people seem to forget this team was 6-7 last year, theyre 8-0 now. I dont know what people are wanting/expecting.

The way this team is..they'll probably look like they will lose every game, but win it in the end. Who knows though?
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
Guiton has better touch on his midrange passes, so I don't think we drop off as much as people think on offense. I just hope Braxton isn't too messed up because that was just scary how bad he looked.
I had totally turned the game off in despair. I still have no idea what happened. I am shocked. In a good way. Will look for highlights. Definitely spoke too soon. My foot is delicious.
I would imagine that with more reps in practice that Guiton will look even better next week, if, god forbid, we are without Braxton for next week or longer.
You are going to hate yourself for a long, long time.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
I'm confident with Kenny. He is very calm in the pocket. He was able to feel the pressure very well and get rid of the ball and mark smart decisions.
Yeah, willing to bet against 7-5
Oops...
This is what happens when you start a thread before the game ends. 7-5...hahahahahaha
Wherever you are, there you be!
holding steady at 12-0. what is this 8-4 or 7-5 talk, is this a troll post or what?
It was a rough game, but we know how bad we can be. Yet somehow we keep winning. You cannot deny the entertainment value of this game. What an ending!
12-0 baby! keep hope alive. If we can win this game we can win them all. Not saying we will for sure, but we have a real shot at it.

WTF...get on the bus with us or stay a Texas fan since you live there. Boy of boy TX sure is doing good...I'd say they may finish 8-4 or 7-5...that might be a better thread TXbucknut...just saying.

Thanks for resurrecting the thread BUCKEYE76BHOP! You are super articulate.
Ya, plus you made fun of a school he might not even be a fan of. I live in Illinois-does that mean you will make fun of the Fighting Illini now?
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off

@HOP +1 sir...the OP started the most downtrodden thread these boards have seen (and thats saying something). If he gets ragged for it, so be it.
HAHA a downvote for a +1? Really?...
any heat this guy takes for this thread is warranted imo.... this team is resilient, and coached by the best coach in football
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
This sounds like a lot of guys I talked to in 2002 ... I laughed at them at the end of the season when they were elated after a National Title. Either embrace what we have or don't, we don't need any more "Randy Quaids from Major League 2" sitting in the outfield complaining about the team and then when they pull it out flip over to cheering non-stop for them.
JT
Oh I'm with you there Rick, but dude went off on the OP about the Texas Longhorns with no way of knowing said OP was a Horn fan or not. I found it comical that he ended up making fun of the poor, hapless Horns for no real reason.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
haha yea i can understand that 2. i often find myself taking jabs at texas. the diff is i dont relegate a fan base to geographical locations. i just take jabs at texas for their ability to win the recruiting championships, and not national championships
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
That's fair, JT. I wasn't complaining about our team, though. I honestly thought we had lost and wanted to hear what others thought about the rest of the season with Brax (seemingly) out indefinitely with a concussion or something. I cheer hard for us every week and have ever since I came into this world via University Hospital on campus. Lived right on Neil Ave., walking distance to the 'shoe. 100% pro-Buckeye.
Next time, keep the negative nancy stuff somewhere else.. Just sayin'
