Did anyone else hear that Bielema is benching his Rent-a-QB? I read it on a couple of other sites and did not know whether it had any validity or not.

starting the freshman Joel Stave..
So its seems that poaching QBs from other schools has finally backfired.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
I heard he's holding open QB auditions at the campus KFC.
lol...Bielema is such an idiot.
Who are they playing this weekend? Whoever it is I hope they get stomped.

mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
announced on ESPN freshman Stave will be starting in place of O'brien. Wisky gets more interesting!
Wisky plays UTEP.
Didn't UTEP give Oklahoma a pretty decent tussle? Wisconsin 2-2? Say it ain't so!
Class of 2010.
I don't know if UTEP gave them a decent tussle, but the final score was 24-7. Then UTEP went to Ole Miss and lost 28-10. Last week though they beat New Mexico State 41-28.
Here's to hoping they pull off the "upset" in Madison tomorrow.
Would love to see UTEP leave Madison victorious.
Next week when bielemas plans fail he will have to fire the water boy or else he might have to actually take credit for a shi&@y team like a man.
Yep its true. I relish in the fact their team is failing. Makes me smie ear to ear.

I wondered if this would hurt Wisconsin in recruiting for qb's.
Wherever you are, there you be!
^ I'm wondering the same thing. The way Bielema handles the QB situation by bringing in other QBs, would have to an effect other QBs that are considering going there. I think he is making so many mistakes, too many to even list, that it has to have major long term concerns going forward. I also think the exit of so many coaches last year speaks volumes to what these coaches think of Bielema and points to a lot of underlining problems with this program. I don't see Bielema being there much longer. His blaming everyone else for the teams failures it getting old. It started last year with Urban and continues to this day by benching his QB.
I dont think it affects qb recruiting much. At the end of the day it is the most coveted position and on a bcs conference team.
