So, Mr. Lewis announces on September 20th. It is between UNC, OSU, and L$U. I was wondering where the staff, and everyone else thinks he is going to end up. I really hope that he is a Buckeye because he is perfect for the Viper spot. Also I feel like he is better than LSU commit Lewis Neal, who was once a Buckeye. I just really want to load up the defensive front 7!! Thoughts everyone!?!?!

Like to see him as a buckeye, but I'm seeing UNC.
Good player's make the play's they're suppose to, great player's make the play's they're NOT !!!
ALL BUCKEYE!!!!!!!!!!!!
#Buckeyes
I feel like he is all Buckeye to!!
Like him at that stand up Viper position. Im thinking UNC but feeling OSU. Vrabel will do wonders with that kid. Withers recruiting him with that NC connection?
He'll be a buckeye
Gut feeling is he is a Buckeye...hope so, really could use him.
OSU
This is a UNC OSU battle. I believe UNC has filled all their D-line spots for their recruiting class if you want to know their confidence on landing him. Would be shocked if he didn't pick OSU
Everything I've seen and heard suggests he's coming to Columbus. I know people have mixed thoughts about Bucknuts, but Dave Biddle interviewed Tyquan like a week or so ago and asked him if Bucknuts should send someone to cover his announcement and Tyquan said "Yes".
When Bournival from ESPN, Alex, Biddle, and Chung from Ozone all agree, I think it's a pretty safe bet
anyone have a specific time as to when this little diddy will be announced? Has any source posted that information or has tyquan released that information yet?
I believe it was mentioned that it would go down @ 4pm Eastern. I will check.
Edit: Yes, it will be @ 4pm tomorrow. Check this out:

(Yikes. Not the best-written article I've ever read, but the information is there.)
Would be a great birthday present for me!
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
I might be a little depressed if this kid doesn't choose OSU... I'm just kidding, but I would definitely be surprised. I can't wait for another year or two when this defense looks like a defense in the SEC... It will be nice to have a 2 deep full of 4 and 5 star recruits... That's if you care about star rankings.
I am guessing that he picks Ohio State. Getting him is just another step closer for OSU to have a "Bama" defense. I want that kind of defense so bad!
yea id settle for the defenses we use to have right now.... id like to see mitchell bell and lewis end up at osu but then again i think everyone does
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
I think we get Lewis today... It will take Urban talking Mike Mitchell's dad into OSU and I believe Bell is sealed when he comes to The Shoe.
At least this is better than wishing for an "SEC" defense. Sill, it seems a little short on memory. It was just two years ago that OSU held Arkansas to 26 points, a team that had put up 31 at LSU, 31 at UGA, 38 at Miss St, 41 at USCe, and 43 at soon to be National Champs Auburn. The only team in the SEC to keep them under 26 was Bama who held them to 20 but still gave up more yardage to Arkansas than the Buckeyes.
The year before that OSU held Oregon to 17 points, a team that had been averaging in the high 40s, and that had put up 47 against USC and 42 against Stanford.
And do I have to remind people about the 2002 OSU defense?
The point is OSU does not have to hope to someday have an "SEC" defense, or even a "Bama" defense. We just have to return to what we've always done, which is consistently field one of the best defenses in all of CFB. I have confidence it will happen soon.
I want to see more of this in our future and Tyquan Lewis is a good step:
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
^^^ amen, good sir. Amen. x2
Edit: this was meant for the post above the picture, but it can be used for both.
I agree, as impressive as the latest Bama defenses have been, the Buckeyes have had some ridiculous defenses through the last decade. I don't think they take a back seat to anybody, to be honest. We need to get to that level of discipline and execution, because we certainly have the athletes.

We've also seen first hand the benefits of having incredibly fast D-lines. Unfortunately, those D's were beating the tar out of the Buckeyes. We've had some good D's, but if we are going to talk about getting back to the kind of D OSU has had in the past we have to reach back to the National Championship season to really point to an Elite Ohio State D.
So, yeah, I want a the Florida D that Urban Stomped the Buckeyes with or the D that LSU and Bama have put together recently, or the 2002 Buckeyes D.
It's all about the front 7... The front 7 dictates what opposing offenses do.
This is just my point. How recently? Certainly LSU and Bama had much better defenses last year, and appear to again this season. But just two years ago, the Buckeyes were as good or better than both.
Once again, look at what the Buckeyes did to Ryan Mallet and the high-powered Arkansas attack in the 4th quarter of the Sugar Bowl with the game on the line. Note the Hogs' average starting field position, yards gained, and points scored.
4th Quarter Arkansas offensive possessions
POSSESSION 1) Arkansas at 15:00
1st and 10 at ARK 50
DRIVE TOTALS: ARKANSAS drive: 6 plays 9 yards, 02:54 ARKANSAS PUNT
POSSESSION 2) 1st and 10 at ARK 44
DRIVE TOTALS: ARKANSAS drive: 6 plays 26 yards, 02:57 ARKANSAS FIELD GOAL
POSSESSION 3) 1st and 10 at OSU 37
DRIVE TOTALS: ARKANSAS drive: 3 plays -7 yards, 01:23 ARKANSAS PUNT
POSSESSION 4) 1st and 10 at OSU 18
DRIVE TOTALS: ARKANSAS drive: 2 plays 0 yards, 00:11 ARKANSAS INT
That's 4 possessions, average starting field position the OSU 40, 28 total yards, and 3 points. Not too shabby.
Yeah but... that's like almost 2 years ago and also none of that happened... wink wink
But seriously, I hope we get this guy. Based on his highlights he looks like a beast!
My point is I want the level of D that LSU and Bama had last year and the D we had in 2002. Those are national championship caliber defenses, not just B1G championship level D's.
I won't believe Lewis is any good until I see him play against GCL competition.
This going to be streamed anywhere online?
you can watch it on HighSchoolOT.com

The next video is an interview with his coach, Coach Craddock. The guy definitely does not have a North Carolina accent. Turns out he is from Ohio, and played for Mt. Union. Guess which college football team is his favorite? Yup, OSU. Crazy. (If this was mentioned soemwhere else at some point, forgive me.)
