That hit was crazy but the Browns aren't opening up any lanes for Richardson. Weeden's looked good other then when he overthrew a wide open Massaquoi.
I expected the OLine to far outperform the Dline, and it's been quite the contrary
Weeden has looked good, except for his fumble and Int as well. 4-10 for 38 yards yikes!!!!
The O-line can't open up anything for the run game. Well the first INT was all on Little, that second INT was all on him.
can't miss wide open wr's and expect to win WeedHead!!! Also, OL blocking for a running game is essential. Thank goodness Eagle penalties are evening out things.

Are you even watching the game? The offense woes aren't all on Weeden. One INT was on Greg Little, and what about the drops by Marecic and the WRs? Also the O-line has been awful, they can't open up anything in the run game, with two freaking perennial Pro Bowlers, I expect more from the O-line, but yes please overreact more and say you won't watch another Browns' game. Also the defense, with the exception of that last drive by Philly, has been very good.
Weeden has missed at least 4 wide-open (by NFL standards) WR's that would have went for more than 30 yards.
I didn't say that some of the offensive woes weren't his fault, he did miss Massaqoui for the TD, but I'm much more disappointed with the play of the offensive line.
If the Eagles didn't have 12 penalties for 120 yards (i exaggerate) they would be beating the Browns by 3 scores. Just sayin. Seen this from the Browns before.

The Browns need new guards on the OL. Thomas, Mack, and Schwartz performed well at LT, C, and RT; but Lauvao and Pinkston stink.

No run game, because the O-line couldn't open up a can of f*cking tuna, let alone a run lane. Weeden with some serious rookie mistakes. Even with all of that, damn does that defense look good, like Super Bowl team good, the only problem is the offense is at a Junior High level right now. The offensive play calling was also very poor. Props to Jauron and that defense, they were awesome out there.

So what about the defense that was Top 5 in the league last year and looks to be even better this year? What about the fact that the 53 man roster has 15 rookies on it? Browns d looked very good. Their pass protection was very good. Run blocking was horrible. Weedon sucks, he is inaccurate and poor decision maker. Waste of a draft pick. Browns should have taken a WR with that pick.

I don't think Colt McCoy throws 4 picks today. Weeden is a system QB. We wasted a 1st round pick on a guy we could have had in the 2nd round. It's sad. I pounded my fist on the arm of my couch, and I stand by that feeling. I'm not saying Colt McCoy is the answer, but he's a nice bridge QB until the Browns can get a crack at an elite one. I felt like I was watching Derek Anderson today.

Lions fan here, when the Browns drafted Weedon I literally LOL'd. What a waste... nothing like drafting a QB the same age he is supposed to be hitting his prime. How did Weinke work out for the Jags? Stafford is only 24, almost 5 years younger than Weeden and by the time Weeden even has a chance to become good he'll be over 30. What a waste...
Richardson reminded me of a stronger/slower version of Peyton Hillis.

Yeah WeedHead turns 29 this year and will turn 30 during his 2nd year in the NFL lol. Wow what a silly first round pick. He's clearly no better than Colt. Atleast Colt knew the system.
The Browns will screw up just enough to not get the first pick. Why draft Richardson in a west coast offense? Why draft Weeden? Why even exisist? I hate that I get committed to 10 games a year to deal with drunk idiots that are hung up on Hillis and Cribbs.

his rating was 5 wow. hopefully the line can run block better bec t rich is the turth he just needs a hole to hit bec we sure will have 0 pass attack again. i like the formula of power run game and good def seems to work on every level

To be fair to Kurt Coleman, his helmet had already been pulled loose on his head and he couldn't see Richardson coming. He also had 2 picks and played lights out defense all day.

Welp looks like the Browns may have their choice of who they want next year. Unfortunately, I don't think they can afford to use a first round pick on a QB 2 years in a row. Ideally, if we have the first pick, we will trade down to the 3-5 range and pick up Robert Woods/Marquis Lee/Anybody who can catch the damn ball and some future first round picks.

As poorly as Weedon played Richardson will be running into 8 man fronts all season. 5.1 passer rating could any of us anticipated such a dreadful performance? Hope he has a short memory.
At this stage I still cant believe Colt was not brought in with the game still winnable. The defense was lights out...sad.
our D looked very impressive against a high profile offense in Philly (except for the long drive). That's what i take away from it and to keep me jumping from a ledge

The hit, though fun to watch, didn't mean much for Coleman. He was coming off a block which he shed very well but had to move to the side and slightely backwards. He had just stopped his backwards direction when Richardson was coming through with a full head of steam. He had no chance, but he still made a tackle.
