I've noticed our little tTUN fans haven't been by to put out their objective little bait today...hmmmm....wonder why??? :-)))))))))))))))))

I'm trying to refrain from ribbing UM fans too much...I mean, it's Bama, and the way they looked they're practically a lock to win the NC game in my eyes (yeah, I know - WAY early, but WOW they looked good). And we of course know the humility of losing badly to superior teams. BUT...I heard many a UM fan preaching how this would be a compettive game, and how this game was a "toss-up" and how them (BARELY) beating us last year for the first time in 7 years meant they were "back."
And I too have heard how they're still the best team in the Big 10 (a bold statement since they didn't even make the BIG championship game last year) from bloggers. So I'm torn. But I enjoyed the thrashing.

All the games of the season are just practices for that glorious saturday in November when we get to jack Shoelace's invisible cereal bowl and drink our fill of delicious skunkweasel tears ...Michigan Still Sucks!!
I wondered over to Mgoblog.com yesterday... to be fair, there was a solid collection of UM fans that used the words "humble pie" a few times... other than that, many made references to OSU's losses to UF and LSU.
The only tears I'm shedding is for Blake Countess going down for the year on punt coverage. I'll admit, I was hopeful we could find a way to win, and was confident we'd compete. We did neither. I felt that the play calling was terrible and they were trying to ensure Denard didn't get injured.
As to Michigan being back...that is the media putting those words in the Michigan fanbase's mouth. We're on our way, but we're two years removed. I think a few of you need to have a slice of humble pie, as well. After seeing what Bama did to MSU two years ago and us this past weekend, I'm not sure how any of you see OSU doing much better.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

I took note to look around as I was out and about in Cincinnati yesterday and as I expected there was not a douche to be found wearing UM gear. Funny how fast the bandwagon fans show their true colors at first sign of trouble.

I actually see no reason for any OSU fan on here to have a slice of humble pie. Last time I checked the season just started and there's been no reason for us to eat our words as of yet. scUM fans? Different story. Satruday night was a confirmation of the ill-perceived greatness of last year's team and the mediocrity of this year's team. Michigan is not back by any stretch, and good god, Denard Robinson is a horrible QB.
Hail - I freely admit that unfortunately nobody in the B1G is on Bama's level, except maybe Bert Bielama's ego.
I am curious though, what was up with the UM playcalling in the Bama game? I know Bama was stuffing the run and the backs weren't getting anywhere, but were they concerned about getting Denard hurt by not running him more? I was a bit confused as to what Borges was trying to do.
I just watched the Denard for Heisman link in today's Skull Session... They do have some talented wide receivers... I felt really bad for them. No matter how hard they tried, no matter how high they jumped... they never really had a chance to catch those crazy throws.
And poor Roy Roundtree getting thrown out of bounds (Contact after 5 yards?). It was a sad day for them. Still surprised there was no call other than the ref throwing his hat to say that Roundtree had gone out of bounds.
@hail you forgot to mention Penn St , they didnt even know who there QB was going to be and they still made a game of it.
We'll never know how the Bucks would have done against bama but I do beleive they are moving in the right direction and i dont think your team is any better than last year. I thought your defense would be better this year but bama made them look terible.
Tenn...great question. Not sure what the gameplan was. Not sure why the felt Vincent (devin-->mussberger) Smith was the man to run between the tackles, and when Rawls did get in, they called sweeps and read options. It reminded me of the start of last season where Borges tried so hard to run his offense instead of letting denard be denard. Honestly, we still lose regardless and Denard would have gotten injured had he run 20 times, but it's just tough to swallow when you feel like you gave a C performance.
Lot's to see still. If we only win by single digits to AF or UMASS, i'll be worried. Right now I'm still just reeling that Countess is gone for the year.

Hoke was in shock. Seems he also believed the hype. Let's be honest, even if he had the horse that bama has, he was completely out coached. No one in their right mind has ever tried to say that Hoke was an elite coach, and his shortcomings were on full display Saturday night.
Maybe Hoke will continue to recruit well for the next couple of years and then a true headliner may be interested in the job.

Dead on, had he had a gameplan to use the players he had properly they would have done much better (I still don't think they would have won). Denard cannot sit in the pocket and throw. The LB's had no reason to stay in the box and they covered the middle of the field well with the dline getting the pressure they needed by themselves. Get Denard to roll out so the LBers have to actually think and let Denard make the pass option read and figure out if he should run for 5-10 yards to pass for 7-15 yards. What a waste, Bama could have put in 6 DB's and not allowed a single point if they wanted on that gameplan...
Hoke commented that they didn't play "michigan football." But what does that mean? They don't have Tom Brady back there right now, but they do have a guy who can make some plays. He just can't do it as a pocket passer. This is just as bad as RR going to michigan and trying to make whats-his-face run the read option. As a coach, you adjust to your personnel. Against Bama, it was just square peg/round hole all night.
Michigan football? Whatever it might mean, you can't wish your way there. When Hoke realized how over-matched they were with their "game plan" he needed to make adjustments. Instead he just hung his team out to dry.
hahahaha
its even better at the end of The Game in 2007 seeing like 6 M*ch*g*n girls in the stands crying.
^Too bad we have to wait another 95 years to see that
EDIT: Damn the hasty double-tap, or lack thereof. 995*
Huh. 2012 + 95 = 3007? Did I miss something?

TSUN fans humbled. Sorry, TSUN isn't that good. I won't compare them to the Rich Rod days, but they are an 8 win team at best.
Class of 2010.
Hell I was on the Tsun blog today and they are still thinking they will win the Legends and play in the Rose Bowl LOL.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
I was getting concerned that i was starting to feel sorry for them but that feeling turned out to be some gas.

Wanted UM to win for the Big Ten sake, but I agree it feels good to see UM fans hearts break.

If they keep playing their weaknesses they will continue to fail.
They were completely manhandled. No offensive gameplan until the game was over. Why play if you aren't going to try to win...
