Did anyone else notice towards the end of the game = Urban pretending to rip open his shirt like Superman? It was obviously a coaching thing as he was challenging the kids to rise up and give that final effort and battle it out and so forth. I coach younger kids so I can really appreciate anything that is motivational to the kids and it seemed to work. After the win one of the players, I didn't catch who, ran over to Meyer and pretended to "rip open" his own shirt to reveal his own "S" and then said something to his coach before jogging away to go celebrate with the others. I LOVED this and was wondering if anyone else noticed it and if it's a theme or something that they use. Or maybe I imagined the whole thing because I was enjoying the game so much (I was watching at a BWs so who knows). LOL.

I don't remember who the player was but it wasn't for the "Superman" pose. It was about playing with heart and showing your team mates your "heart".

I'm pretty sure it was Nathan Williams ... although I had had a few by then so I might be mistaken.
just rewatched the game. it is about opening your heart to the competition and Big 10 physicality. Urban did it to Herbstreit also telling him to open his heart to the team. The player at the end of the game was Williams
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
Ya you could tell how bad Urban wanted this win. After what happened when we played these guys last year, I couldn't be happier to deliver a heart-breaking loss for them in their house.
I thought it was cool myself. Good stuff when a coach finds a way to motivate!
I love the passion he brings to Columbus
According to an insider its origin is from halftime of the MSU game during the talk the players were pissed Reid Fragel got up broke his chair in half rest of team gets pumped players start doing it to mimic the Hulk at least thats the story i heard.
true or not i like it!
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
If the player wasn't John Simon, it wasn't a Superman pose.
