This the worst tackling defense I've seen in 20 years. Unbelievable how many missed tackles I saw today and it kept a bad UAB team in the game. That is all!!!!!!

Even though I had a hard time streaming this game, where was our offense? We had more than our fair share of drops. Moreover, the secondary looked like swiss cheese. I'm so ready to vent right not but realistic that this team is gonna lose 3 or 4 games this year. Come on guys....

Only reason it doesn't seem realistic is because the B1G is competing to be the worst conference in the country this year. Horrible.

Travis Howard whiffed at least 3 times that I saw yesterday. I couldn't believe the coaches left him in the game! At the after-game presser, I heard Meyer talk about the injuries in the secondary. So I guess he had no choice but to leave Howard in. But when I saw Howard refuse to wrap up over and over, I just knew that guy had not paid any attention during Tuesday and Wednesday practices (that were allegedly about tackling). I hope he gets an earful from the coaches this week!

Proper technique: Butt under/good base, Get low, Head up and to the outside, wrap up, and take them down. May be they should watch this...

OSU's new technique: Hit em high and don't wrap up, Dive at the ground or sort of at the runner, miss, hit em with you arm or hand, arm tackle, head down, can't see what I'm tackling, did I mention dive and miss???? Here's what we've been seeing...and this. Just horrible tackling...I didn't know they taught them to lay down and try to tackle their shoes these days...just sickening to watch. Makes me question people's sanity if they can be feeling great about being 4-0 going up to East Lansing and facing a 250lbs running back that's MUCH better than the kid in those clips. I say OSU's in for a dog fight this Saturday....
