NFL starts in two days...NFC looks to be the stronger conference this season. I think Green Bay, Frisco, Chicago all have a solid chance. The AFC contenders just look to be a little long in the tooth - New England, Pittsburgh, San Diego. Cincy could be a sleeper team, but I think they're a few years away. I'll go with a darkhorse prediction:
Chicago Bears over Houston.
(Bears 31: Texans: 27. Sanzo with the game-winning TD catch!)

HERE WE GO BROWNIES, HERE WE GO!!!!!
Green Bay (Over NYG) over Houston (Over NE)
The 49ers over Patriots 34 to 31. Brady losses another close one.
@dubjay I like your style, I just hope the brownies can somehow win a couple division games, then I would be satisfied with whatever the outcome this year.
Before Jason Buckeye gets on here...I'm going to say his answer...the Browns Baby! LOL just kidding btw Dubs above. Anyway who knows and no offense but who cares. CFB is SO much better and when play offs come in 2014...look for NFL to be even more second place to CFB...
If I had to chose it would be New England or Green Bay. Always been a Bears fan but don't see Jay Culter ever winning a play off game...let alone the Super Bowl.

all i want is the Browns to be heading in the right direction this season. 8-8 and you could consider me happy
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
I think Trent Richardson was a great draft pick for the Browns. I liked what they did in the draft. Richardson is exactly the kind of big back you need in late November/early December AFC North weather. That pick will pay dividends.

Gmen over the Pats(again) 31-21! Go Blue!!!!
Patriots over the Bears
I like to believe that my best hits border on felonious assault.
JACK TATUM
^ Super Bowl XX rematch ^ ... good call, I was thinking that could be a possibility, too
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
Browns over Panthers. Calling it now.
^^^ take it to the bank..... I already put my life savings and my mother's house on this bet. I AM GONNA BE RICH!!!
If the Browns even go 9-7 I'll be ecstatic.
Packers vs Ravens.
Brownies won't win 9 games in the next 2 years combined.
^Thinks about it for a second. Then realizes how ludicrous that statement is.
FWIW: Cincinnati will always be a few years away. And the Browns, well, they're the Browns...
"You all are so wrong. Clearly there is only one team, heck only one player in the NFL that is worth mentioning. Tim Tebow will lead the Jets to a 19-0 record, have a 158.3 passer rating on the season and save a bus full of Sunday school kids on the way to bible camp." -Every ESPN Executive's nightly dream
-Seriously though I got the Packers over the 49ers, Texans over Pats, Packers over Texans.
My prediction: the Super Bowl will involve two mediocre teams - i.e., the two teams that just happened to survive the random-esque "playoff" tournament. The game will again lack any sense of gravitas and will feel just like any other Monday Night espn game. Both teams will have finely-tuned athletes but glaring weaknesses in multiple phases of the game. In other words, just another Super Bowl in the 32-team salary cap era.
I think I will go with the 2 most complete teams in the league, 49ers and patriots. Patriots win.
I am a KC Chiefs fan and I think they will win their division and I am hoping for at least 1 playoff win. Been a long time and I think KC is a talented team all around except the dreaded QB. Broncos have Manning but half of their defense will either be suspended for 6 games or injured for 6 games.
NFC is a slaughterhouse who's champion will skirt the line best between great QB play and good enough defense.
Green Bay has problems on the D, San Fran has problems behind center, Chicago may end up getting Cutler killed if they can't block anything, the Giants have no clue what Eli they will get, and the Eagles...well...who knows there.
Get that Sanzo stuff out of your head as well. He barely made the roster and will barely see the field this year.
I'd love Bears\Pats.
It'll be Packers\Pats.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
G-Men beat Baltimore
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
Packers 27 Ravens 16
According to ESPN, the Jets are the only team in the NFL. They win the title by default if that holds true, but Sanchez and Tebow have 0 TDs on the season.
/Duff'd It
I will be like a little kid on Christmas morning if the Browns win 7 games.
/Duff'd It
Texans beat San Francisco 24-21....
^Texans have a really solid defense. They'll need Schaub, Foster, and Johnson to stay healthy for that to happen though.
Browns over Lions in a rematch of the heated GLC.
come on Brewster --- Sanzo's on the roster. He set a record for TD catches by a non-drafted player last year, and started multiple games. It's not impossible. It's not like there's not a scenario (depth, injuries, reliability, whatever) where he could end up on the field in a Super Bowl game, run a quick slant from the slot position, and pull off the game-winning catch.
sheesh -- I'll keep that in my head, no thanks to you.
Packers D will let them down again. I'd say if not the Bears, then 49ers.
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
Sanzo is a bad NFL football player. Sorry. If he has to play considerable time-or is on the field in that awesome scenario you imagined (Change to win the Super bowl) than something has gone seriously awry with the Bears receivers. The Bears took a 6th receiver instead of a third QB, but with Marshall, Jeffery, Hester, and Earl, Dane is tied with Weems for 5th, technically. Mike Tice will run exactly 0 5 wide sets this year so Dane will be relegated to Special Teams to make any sort of impact what so ever. As a Bears fan, I want him on the field 0 times for offensive possessions, sorry.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Jets beat Raiders 6-3. Derp
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
yeah, I get what you're saying, but the Sanzo part in the original post was more of a dream scenario. Don't take it too seriously. Anyways, just have a gut feeling the Bears will surprise people this year, that was more my feeling
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
The Steelers are making a run at 7 this year. I think they beat the Packers in a rematch.
Here we go Steelers, here we go!!
Colts over 49ers. Call it.
Pats over Eagles. I hate that this is my prediction but it's what I'm truly thinking. Ravens & 49ers fall just short.
If Browns/Lions do not make it, Tracy's picks are mine.
i like texans vs bears.... texans 28 bears 17.
my heart says cincy vs anyone lol
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
