Terrelle Pryor's stiff arm or Braxton Miller's stutter-step? After seeing TP bat guys away with his killer stiff arm, you get used to seeing that. The Miami game we saw Miller try a stiff arm and get crushed. However, he had a sick stutter-step that he used a couple of time, including during his big touchdown run. TP never had that move!

B.Miller is the better open field runner of the 2, and I think he is more sudden, or quicker too. T.P on the other hand was a little more physical, and stronger/bigger with those long arms that were perfect for stiff-arming, T.P also was faster. Braxton's arm aren't as long which makes his stiff arm attempts less effective as well. I would take either QB in this offense, and be completely happy.
That's a win-win. Give me either one, or Troy Smith, and I'll be pleased as pie.
I would love to see what Terrelle could do in an offense like this but I still think that Braxton is the better QB at this point in his career, regardless of his weak stiff arms.
TP had a sick stiff arm. Braxton is to small he gets tossed when he tries!@
Wherever you are, there you be!
Stutter indicates less contact.. so I go with that one. I felt much more excited though when TP laid out a guy though to be honest.
Gotta agree with Steensn on this. I'd have to go with stutter because I'd rather see my QB juking to avoid contact rather than taking it on. Both are pretty killer. I just want my QB avoiding contact if given the choice.
Pryor was more of a power runner with straight line speed. Braxton is an ankle breaker that makes defenders look silly. Both will put it all on the line when they need to get the first down. The one reason i pick braxton over pryor is i was always waiting for pryor to break off the huge run for a touchdown but he always seemed to get caught. Braxton has already done that with his 81 yard touchdown run vs Indiana. Braxton is just more explosive.
I liked the way TP used the stiff arm to avoid contact but in any other QB I would rather see the stutter step. TP was a physical freak and he could control how a defender hit him. Braxton and most others would be better served by avoiding contact altogether.
If this turns into who is better between TP And Braxton debate... TP looked terrible at the start of his sophomore season. Remember, it was not until Tressel shackled him that we started to roll into the Rose Bowl. Braxton looks farther along as a QB than TP did at this point in his career. But also remember, TP was a two time BCS bowl MVP (Even though I thought Heyward was the true Sugar Bowl MVP) which is an impressive feat any way you slice it.

Second Edit: More Typo
Both throw an ugly ball at the moment. Here's hoping Urban can get that cleaned up.
I dunno but Braxton stiff arming himself to the ground was total derpness.
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
Braxton's stutter-step was nasty. I agree with the less contact concept too.
Am I the only one who would like to see both? Imagine the stutter step and then confused fool gets stiff armed into the turf for a facefull of rubber pellets.
I personally liked the way Miller was aggressive, he got up in a guys face after a play and kind of shoved him off of him. The les-than-desireable stiff arm was not the time to bust out the stiff arm. The defender was coming in way to high and fast and it looked more like Miller punched at him than tried to stiff arm him, and it resulted in Miller shoving himself to the ground....okay I'll agree with BuckeyeJason on the derpness factor, but I like this new aggressive Miller I'm starting to see.
"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."
No, but that wasn't the question asked and it seems that TP had the stiff arm and Braxton doesn't.
Although I enjoy seeing the stiff arm of justice, I prefer the stutter step because it happens without contact and most likely means getting past the player.
That was a sick move he put on that guy! The second (or third if you think he was already in another gear) was spectacular! To be able to hit another gear like that and blow right past the dude was unreal! If it wasn't for Devin Smith's catch, that stutter step would have been the play of the game.
Lets see, Evan Spencer's catch last year and Smith's catch this year.....I think we have playmakers on this team!
