On Braxton's 2nd fumble OSU was saved by the whistle. MSU recovers that ball and scores easily if the whistle doesn't stop play there. Down 20-17 at that point I am not sure the Bucks would have won today.

The game is over, enjoy the win friend.
MSU was lucky to even get the ball because of the review. It was an abnormal fumble because there was no direct hit on the ball to dislodge it, he simply let go of the ball right before hitting the ground. Hard call for the refs to rule it a fumble right away.
Yes, it was a hard call, but if they decide not to blow the whistle and let the play go MSU would have scored easily.
vacuuming sucks
Honestly, I would have taken an MSU touchdown to keep Braxton's health...the fumble was the least of my worries at that point. I watched his knee and I...ouch.
Hard to say if he would have scored. It's obvious that the Bucks let up once they heard the whistle.

Actually if you watch the tape Mewhort was perfectly positioned to swoop in and strip the MSU player after he recovered the Braxton fumble and pitch it to philly for a sure Bucks TD. Could see in Mewhort's eyes he was lining it up. MSU got lucky the ref blew the play dead.
^^Now that ish was funny
Thank you TERWILLIGINS! I've been saying that all day, and no one wants to hear it! Glad I'm not the only one who saw that. It was obviously a designed play. They planned it exactly that way and then the refs blew it...
We still would've won. Braxton to Devin part 2 would've happened.
Class of 2010.
I hate when people do this. It doesn't work that way. Football games don't come down to changing one play because EVERYTHING that happened after that play would have been different.
If MSU had scored, we'd have seen completely different offensive play calling fom the Bucks. Maybe it would have meant another Braxton interception, maybe it would have been another Devin Smith TD or the Stoney up the middle pass. There is absolutely no way to know.
Enjoy the win, and don't worry about what might or might not have been.
But we should worry about our over reliance on Miller on offense and his tendency to drop the ball. Not only this, but he's going to get hurt if we can't get the ball out of his hands. Happy with a win, but we're still not playing well as a team.
You never know that the fumble returner could have twisted a knee and dropped the ball in pain with OSU recovering his fumble. Always hated the what if because it could be done on every play in some way or another.
You can't just assume he would score Zach Boren was right there and would probably have knocked him out of bounce if the whistle didn't blow. Anyways the game is won with 60 minutes of hard fought football not one call. Mich St had plenty of opportunities to score before or after the penalty. The silver bullets denied that chance.
