ESPN B1G blogger Adam Rittenberg says this could be one of, if not THE, worst regular season weekends for the B1G. Can't say I disagree. Nor do the B1G coaches for that matter. 1-6 against major conference opponents+ND. Woe-ful.

The Big 10 is worse than the ACC this year. Think about that...
The 2012 National Champions.
Big 10 is better than the Big East though, right?
^ Oh God I hope.
In Illinois' defense, Scheelhaase didn't play.
I have no excuses for Wisky (glad I don't), Nebraska, Iowa, PSU, or Purdue.
How many B1G coaches get fired this year?
Keep Calm and Ignore the Trolls.
I have a friend who teaches at UNL who says Pellini is on the Hot seat.
Buckeye in PA purgatory
The ACC fans during the annual ACC / Big Ten challenge will start chanting Football this year.
I think that we have the same record against the SEC this year as the Sun Belt.
illinois, wisconsin, purdue, and nebraska lost on the road, three of those teams had to travel to a different time zone. perhaps if those 4 teams had played at home, they might have won and then things wouldnt look as bad as they do? or am i making excuses for the big 10?
I think nebraska fans are living in the past. They are a historically relevant team, but the expectations in lincoln are not realistic for today. The days of tom osborne coaching them to national titles are long gone. if they moved to the big ten because they didn't want to play second fiddle to Texas and Oklahoma, did they really think they would just waltz into the big ten and immediately own the league?
They never should've fired frank solich back in 2003 and obviously the hiring of bill callahan was a rich rodriguez-level mistake for the program. If pelini is on the hot seat, that's ridiculous and reactionary. they shouldn't have lost to ucla, but pelini has been pretty successful there. In 08 he was 9-4, in 09 he was 10-4, in 10 he was 10-4, and last year in 11 they were 9-4.
