Questions about new 'Shoe atmosphere?
I was wondering if anyone would care to share their experience with the new scoreboard, score banner, and sound system?
Also, what were the students saying directly after each kickoff? It was a real fast "O-H-I-O" followed by a few words that were inaudible on BTN.
In the past it has always been "Rip his freakin head off." (but not really freakin) It started as a pretty small sect of people saying it but it has grown over the years. I graduated three years ago and this is the first time ive ever audibly heard it on tv.

There was one thing I didn't like about the scoreboard. On the banner beneath the main video board it looks like this:
TOL ___ DOWN ___ TO GO ___
I was always reading it as the number of time outs left was the down, and the down was the number of yards to go. I wish it was more like this:
___ ___ ___
TOL DOWN TO GO
Nit picky, and I'll get used to it eventually. Overall, I think it was all positive.
The "Rip his f*cking head off!!!!" thing is one of my favorites. I didn't like it so much last year, but there were so many more people doing it this year.

yea the rip his fucking head off thing has been getting louder and louder the past four years I have been here. Sound system didnt really sound any different and its tough to judge the scorboard from the south stands. Im sitting north for conference games so it will be easier to judge then.
@ AWOP What do you say, can Vandy handle NW at home? My money is on the Wildcats.
