I am wondering the same thing.
I dont always root for college athletics, but when i do (which is most of the time) I choose THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Hopefully the helmets are full matte. Love the matte. And buckeyes on the shoulders, similar to Oregons duck wings. Maybe buckeye leaves for piping down the pants. Definitely chocolate and peanut butter buckeyes for kneepads. All full on matte. I just love matte.

Forget which feed it was but some of the Buckeye players were talking about a Pro Combat uniform and had a low quality picture of it. Sure it is floating around somewhere. The black pro combat uniform

I believe that was just an artist's mockup of one.
I'm with you guys on the matte. I'd really dig a charcoal grey uniform, with black and scarlet accents abound. For the helmet, rock a matte grey with the scarlet stripe (with black contrast stripes on the outside edges of the scarlet stripe), with a large buckeye leaf on one side and the player's number on the other.
Something akin to West Virginia's new uniforms, albeit with Scarlet, Black, and a dash of white instead of WVU's dark blue and yellow (and a more traditional number font).
hope its something original.
I'd love to see a black jersey with scarlet numbers and a silver outline. As for the helment I'd like a black one with a scarlet block O and a scarlet facemask

I'd love a chrome standard Buckeye helmet in whatever uniform we go with, especially if it's for the Nebraska game, under the lights.

Screw Black uniforms. Everyone does it. We are Ohio State, not Oregon, Oklahoma State, or Oregon State. We wear scarlet at home. I'm okay with the chrome helmet and a pro combat, but please no black. Let's have some class and not sell our souls to Phil Knight.
I love the traditional pro combats we've wore in past seasons. I love the number Font in the 1942 home uniforms. Anyone know what that number font is called. UCLA used to have it in the 90's

Chrome helmets are the ungliest, dumbest thing yet. Look at Rutgers. What are they supposed to be, Buckeyes or Lugnuts?
