Is ther any change Uban Meyer will take him back after he gets fired. He told the media his defensive players are are to stupid to learn his playbook and he had to cut in half.

Well it would take a defection from someone on staff before a position would open up, ofcourse unless Coach Meyer decided to fire someone.
With the defense underperforming so far, it doesn't appear likely that Fickell will be moving to a HC job this coming off season. I believe that is the only way you would see even the slightest potential that Paul Haynes would return, and it would be as a co-defensive coordinator.
Secondly, Haynes coaches the secondary and we already have two defensive coaches who focus on that unit in Coombs and Withers.
Coombs isn't going anywhere, he is an Ohio guy and this is his dream spot. Withers on the other hand may move on, I know he would like to be a HC again but again, with the defense under performing I don't see him moving on as a HC either.
Haynes has reached a point I believe that he won't want to be just a position coach. I do not see him coming back to Ohio State.
by that thread did sound like the fans were a big fan of him
Urban might not even want him. Probably has someone else in mind if Withers leaves.
Yeah if anyone leaves would probably be Withers since he doesn't have any Ohio ties.
I wouldn't mind seeing Haynes back, but I don't see it happening -- highly unusual for an assistant to leave and come back, especially to a different head coach.

I would love to have him back! I doubt that will happen though. I really wish we had Derrel Hazel coaching up the WR's still..one of the best in the college ranks I always believed.

although I see him as being a good coach I think UfM would want to stick with the coaches that he has hired.
