That ESPN article on the Big Ten mentioned Kerry Collins as the last BIG QB taken in the first round. I got to thinking how the starting QB situation sits currently. Thats how you actually measure success, who sticks around, not where they got picked. Thought you all would be interested in seeing it too. I counted them by current conference, so AM and Mizzou are counted in SEC.
BIG TEN: 3
BIG EAST: 0
ACC: 5
SEC: 7
BIG 12: 5
PAC 12: 7
CUSA: 1
IVY: 1
MAC: 1
D-1A: 2

Like the B1G conference they played in, a pretty B1G two in Brady and Brees. But only 3 total says alot about the style of play over the past decade+ and how special a really good QB is in the NFL!
