Meyer is spot on, Miller is more talented than Tebow...

as a runner.  He is more talented than most running backs in the country as a matter of fact.  All you had to see of the UAB game was Miller's 12-yard touchdown run to know that Meyer knows what he is talking about.

I expect Miller to have more designed runs against MSU because it will be a necessity.  The Buckeyes need to get a lead by using the full breadth of their offensive playbook including a bunch of Miller on the move in both the running and passing games.  I know that MSU has a great defense, but I don't think any defense this side of Alabama's can stone the Bucks if they are really letting Miller play to his full potential.

Once the lead is established Hyde and Hall can take over because MSU will be devoting so much attention to Miller's feet.  Those magically talented feet.

I'm really excited to see what the offense looks like with Hyde and Hall in the backfield at the same time, should be interesting at the very least! Hopefully Meyer let's Braxton air it out a little too.

I believe Miller is a better passer at this stage, also.  Sure Tebow had great statisics, but he had a great team around him that disguised many of his flaws.  We are seeing the results of his terrible mechanics and accuracy in the pro's.  He literally willed his team to victory which can't be taught.  I believe Miller has that same trait as evidenced by his taking over games when needed.  I am excited to see how he and this team develop over the next couple of years.

Braxton has some pretty good intangibles too, he's got a knack for making things happen when we need a play (see: Purdue, Wisconsin, Cal) I can only imagine his intangibles will grow with time, the guys only a true sophomore and he already has made some amazing plays.

Keeping this defense on the move, i think, will be the most important part of this game. We can not settle in on a gameplan and it must be an evolving game plan. I really hope we are prepared for this week

If only we had a way to implant the leadership skills of Tebow into Braxton, he would be the best OSU QB ever.

Forget for a moment about "intangibles." In Tebow's Heisman season, Percy Harvin gained 764 yards rushing and 858 yards receiving.  That's a pretty tangible advantage Tebow had over Miller.  When Miller has a weapon like that next to him --Jalin Marshall, maybe-- our offense should be as productive as anything we saw down in the Swamp, and maybe more.

No doubt Miller can be a better passer than Tebow as well.  He has much better form and can throw on the move better than Tebow IMHO.  We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg in terms of production from Miller.

I would say that Miller and Robinson are easily the two best running quarterbacks in the country right now.  Miller's strength lies in his ability to change directions on a dime; his juking ability is out-of-this world.  Robinson has the better top-end speed, and I think is a hair faster in his acceleration, as well.  Robinson isn't a juker, though--his strength lies in his ability to cut past defenders and make quick directional changes, but not of Miller's patented stop-start variety.

Miller is technically a year behind Tebow, since Tebow spent his freshman year as a goal-line player whilst learning the offense, hence his 2007 offensive explosion--his passing numbers are something Miller won't sniff this year.  So, as a sophomore, Tebow knew Meyer's entire offense, while Miller is still learning it.  Next year will be scary: he's going to be a better passer, throwing to improved receivers and running an offense that he's completely mastered.

I'm excited.

Physical talent, I would say there are many QB's in the game now and during Tebow's time that are better athletes, including Miller. Many athletes have higher ceilings than others, but in the end it is how well someone can put it together in the situation they are in. Tebow was PERFECT for the situation he was in and a born leader. It was the perfect storm... Tebow's talent + the talent around him + the system = one of the  best college football all around seasons ever.

We will find out if Meyer can repeat that perfect storm for Braxton to get as good or better results. It certainly will not be from lack of talent on Braxton's part.

Miller is more TALENTED than Tebow, but I'm not ready to crown his a**.  Tebow was one of college's greatest players ever - statistically.  Let's not be so quick to lump Miller into that mix.

Possibly more talented. But what does that really mean? Can he juke defenders better and has better top end speed? Sure, of coarse he does. Does his throwing mechanics look better than Tebows? Yes, but not every QB has the same throwing motion.

The Braxton hype machine is in full force, and deservingly so...but let's let the kid play more than 2-2 1/2 seasons before we start calling him "the greatest Running QB of all time" and "more talented than Tebow".

As far as I know, Tebow has 2 national championship rings, S.E.C championships, a Hesiman trophy, all-time leading rusher in the S.E.C(td's?), was a 1st rd pick in the NFL draft and lead his team to a playoff win in his second year as a pro.

Lets see if Braxton can accomplish anything remotely close to that.

Miller has 2 1/2 more years to develop which is the scary part. Tebow had much more talent surrounding him

I love Braxton as our quarterback, but I don't understand how people say he is a better passer than Tebow was in college. Tebow was probably an average to slightly above average college passer. I don't see Braxton even being an average passer. He misses a lot of open receivers. Does he have time to develop? Yes, as mentioned above. But he has many accuracy problems with receivers that are very open.

I think this weekend against MSU is going to be a very good measuring stick.  While he probably has nightmares from last years contest, if he can video-game-juke around an MSU defense as well as come away with little to no turnovers and a 60% completion percentage, then I think were going to have another Heisman winner in the near future!

Miller has such amazing vision and ability to make people miss.  Tebow was a big power runner.  Tebow wouldn't be able to get out in space and make people miss.  Miller probably wouldn't be as successful going straight up the middle.  Different styles, but I do also give the edge to Miller just on pure running ability.  The vision and the agility are spectacular, and not many running QBs in the history of the game have that kind of ability or potential.

If Brax has half the work ethic of Tebow he will be a far better QB. If you read Tebow's book you would see a huge similarity between his work ethic and that of one John Simon. The man hated losing more than just about anything.

I despise the 06 Gators, but have mad respect for Tebow from what I know about him.

Braxton has looked great so far, and he has easily as much talent as Tebow had.

I think that if he can stay healthy he has a chance to do incredible things for OSU.  My only criticism is he seems to underthrow his receivers a lot, maybe it's because he's on the move all the time. The spin move he did last week that resulted in a touchdown was something you can't teach - it's just talen and Tebow couldn't have done that!

If Hyde and some of the receivers will carry their own portion of the load, we'll have a great season and I expect them to be Sparty. The defense is my sore spot!

Braxton is truly a gifted athlete, but for him to walk in Timmy's shoes; for now, he'd have to stuff the toes with tissue.
