wow, so after all that, the felony counts, and jail time, he gets his scholarship back, a free education, over a walk-on that was doing it right...... That is disgusting and I feel terrible for that walk-on. That other LB had his chance at a free education, he f*ck*d up, now he has to pay the price, literally, and go on without a scholarship. I cannot believe he decided not to renew a walk-ons and he gave the scholarship to a criminal...... disgusting....
As someone said in the comments below that article, Kiffin (and that attitude) is everything that is wrong with college football
"Love my State, hate the football"
Anyone surprised? Anyone? Bueller?
/Kiffin might be a bigger scumbag than Saban.
No surprise. No excuse. Lane has always been a loser and this just reminds why I think so! I can't think of any reason you would do that to a kid. No player can be worth all of that and if Urban did this I would hope our fan base would lash out - again unless there is a good reason for it (which I can't think of one). Now if USC makes it to the Championship against a SEC team who thel do I root for? You suck Kiffin!
felon DESERVES a 2nd chance, for sure: Felon doesn't deserve a free college education.
Kiffin proves to be a million dollar head coach with a 2cent head.
Wow. Not surprised though. It's Kiffin.
That is absolutely shameful.
his show on comedy central's pretty funny
Read this comment and laughed.
"Allen Pinkett approves."
Ha, classic.
vacuuming sucks
The press here in LA and pretty much everywhere, has given Kiffin a pass. The story is nowhere to be found. Contrast this with the hoopla given the Notre Dame broadcaster slamming the Buckeyes as criminals...that got plenty of ink. Or Michigans decision on Toussant. Kiffin's action is emblematic of USC's approach to dicipline and morality. Kiffin always makes me feel like washing. He is truely without a soul.
...and, for good measure, it's now clear that he does not deserve a wife that hot
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
Wow... I mean the walk on got hurt in the deal, but that is not the issue IMO because he wouldn't likely get it if a recruit came in and they needed it. The issue is that someone who actually was convicted and spent time in jail is let back on the team. I'm all for second chances, but not there are lots of other places for second chances, like a smaller school where they specialize in taking on those type of projects. The standard that he set was bad, had a UM or OSU player been put in jail I believe both coaches would not let them back on.
Absolute degenerate
This is absolutely ridiculous. What's even worse is that this is the first I'm hearing of it, meaning that the media gladly sweeps this one under the rug because of almighty USC. At least it's not as bad as some free tats....
Karma's a b, and it'll come back to get him.
Just disgusting.
