Im pretty sure I read one time that Meyer was making the quarterbacks wear a knee brace on their knee that they would be stepping into to throw. Im pretty sure Braxton started the year wearing one but this last game I noticed he wasnt wearing it anymore. Does anyone know when or why he stopped wearing it?

All of his QB's wear them in practice, not necessarily in games though.....no need to risk getting a knee rolled over in practice.
Have you ever tried running with one of those things on? I think I'd rather try swimming with a lead backpack on.

I haven't seem him wear an actual knee brace all season. Anyone who's tried to run in a brace can attest to why that is
Didn't Pryor wear one during games?
I believe the staff has mandated that all the QB's wear a brace. I thought they mentioned it during the spring game or around that time frame. Pryor wore his after he hurt his knee and had work done on it (if memory is correct)
I looked through most of the pictures online and I only see Pryor using a patella knee brace or a leg sleeve. Unless pryor needed some stabilization for the ACL there is probably a little chance that he wore a brace. Typically what most QBs will wear is a knee sleeve which is use to stabilize the knee, protect the medial and lateral side of knee so that no injuries occur at those ligaments, absorb shock while allowing the full range of motion for knee extension and knee flexsion. I did see Pryor and a few QBs wear patella knee braces which are for something else. It really depends on what injury a QB has if any as to wither they need bracing.

Braxton has never worn a knee brace in any game action. Only in practice. Linemen wear the brace during games. Outside of someone with knee issues, I can't think of anyone else.
Braxton doesn't need a knee brace, he needs help from his offense to keep him from doing stuff like that so often. After the first knock out during the first drive, the second one was unnecessary.
