Philly Brown just needs 2 catches to top the leading receivers total for all of 2011. Both he and Stoneburner had 14 catches last season to lead the team. Through 2 games Brown already has 13 catches this season.
Good lord this offense was dreadful last season.
Speaking of Stoneburner....he got called out by the coach today.
Dreadful? I thought it was adorable the way the offense trotted out there every Saturday without a hope in the world.
Great Post. It is funny to look and compare the stats from last year to this year and already see a major difference. And to think, they completely changed our "offensive" (get it? lol) in the offseason. It hasn't been perfect. But they obviously made good changes and the team seems to be responding better. I think it may get more difficult before it gets better- but its a good start.
The offense (especially the passing game) was putrid last year.
