I don't care what the rest of the people on this board think, Timmons is impressive. Every time he touches the ball he scores and unless he is going up against the JV team or 8th graders that is impressive! I think we should take him if he would commit on the spot.

About Jalin, I saw on a recruiting site he only runs a 4.68 40 is that right? because that is pretty slow for someone who is supposed to have amazing speed. I thought he would run a sub 4.4 40 the way people are talking about him.
Just saw Quick make a very nice catch (6th). Dawkins dont look too bad either.
Also I am sold on Timmons also, I mean if he touches the ball it seems like he can go the distance, he sounds like the Thomas kid from Oregon. I wouldn't mind taking Timmons, Gibson,Foster if Urban wants him if not foster go with Quick. Not sure he would sign 3 more WR though, I actually like some of the WR we have, Devin smith is turning into a very good WR, Corey Brown is doing well, and the rest of the WR are pretty young. I say with Jalin, add 2 more WR/playmakers for this class, we need the spots for other positions.
If that is his true time he will not make it in the slot. Thats TE speed. Does he have the body for TE?
Jalin, I believe is only like 6'0 or 6'1 not a TE. It was on ESPN so they could be wrong but still they would have to be pretty off. I went to the Lancaster vs Pick North game tonight, Saw Jake Butt, he looked pretty good. He had a pretty nasty catch in the 2nd quarter. Also Bobby Carpenter was at the game, he was acting like a coach pretty much, I think he will take over after his Dad retires. But Pick North killed Lancaster they aren't having a good season.

After watching Jalin's tape, there is no way he runs a 4.6. No Way. that is the fastest 4.6 I ever seen. lol
The absolute least of my worries is whether Jalin Marshall has enough football speed.

jalin is 6' tops but after watching in person definitely faster than a 4.6 plus his lateral ability is real good made some Braxton moves to get out of some presure in the backfield

Marshall won State in the high jump (6'8" PR), and finished 4th in the long jump (23'.75" PR) as a junior. Ran the 200m in 23.07 in May. Fast and athletic with great hands.
Jalin didnt place in the 200m with that time did he?

he didn't run the 200 at States, not sure if he even really tried to qualify.
went to elyria to support my bears. tracy sprinkle had a solid game. 1 huge hit. 1 totally missed sack, but was in the backfield a lot. Royalton's offense is amazing. scored 62 points on sprinkle and elyria tonight.

Jalin does run better than a 4.6, but that official time came out of one of the combines he attended over summer. I believe it was the Opening when he ran that one.
Drew Barker's numbers have been sick! I hope this kid gets the offer and commits! I'm hoping a QB offer or two goes out pretty soon.

I think you have to look for sideline to sideline speed and elusiveness. Straight line speed rarely translates to a playmaker. Brandon Saine had blazing speed on a track but he couldn't elude a defender to save his life. Also field vision is a must for a playmaker. Mo C. ran a 5+ in the combine but he may of had the best field vision I have ever seen in the Buckeyes backfield. I haven't seen film on this Timmons kid but unless he is playing against a 8th grade girls softball team, those numbers are unreal. You can't teach the ability to make people miss and make plays like that. To me that is all instinct and god given talent.

Raekwon McMillan had 10 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD and a safety. He's got 50+ tackles on the season already. Wow do I want this kid bad, looks like if he can enroll early he may even start from day 1 if some new LBs don't step up

Austintown Fitch-Billy Price::::Was doubled all night but still managed to have about 6tackles-1TFL-1-sack....Austintown Fitch dismantled Youngstown Boardman 52-7.......Next week home vs. Youngstown East....Then the Fitch Falcons travel to Paul Brown to face Mass. Tigers....If anyone wants to see this kid play !
I think Marshall will be ok. If he runs a 4.6 right now Coach Marotti will turn him into a 4.5 or 4.4 guy after a year or so. I don't really care what his 40 speed is as long as he is elusive and makes people miss.
