friend of mine who is a walk on said Bri'onte is probably gonna start next week and Hall probably won't be featured until October. Might get a few carries but don't expect him to shoulder the majority of the carries
I heard that while doctors did clear him to play, that coaches will need to see him run and see how he does in practice before they will let him play. So yeah, he could play this week, but I would expect him to be eased in like Triv suggested above.
Did I really just read that (like I'm like a little awstruck)? You want him for the national title run lol. Not that it would ever happen unless there's some terrible setback.
There's no one in the 2013 class that we're waiting on that you would want over him. Not even close. Maybe some of the 2014 kids, but nobody in the 2013 class.
Yes, finally bowl eligible and you'd rather have some kid that won't start his first year over one of the top offensive weapons? Lol.
Hall > every single member of the 2013 class, including Jalin Marshall. Hall is a proven playmaker and I would take him over an incoming freshman anyday
Hall is a proven playmaker? Huh? Outside of the return game he's been pretty hot and cold. It's weird how everyone is hyping him up so much like they completely forgot how he looked when they previously watched him play.
I agree with TRIV and like it or not Hall is a playmaker (per Urban) and if Jordan is ready to go we should play him now and not wait till the MSU game (plobly the toughest game for the Bucks this season) as some have pointed out the reps are important....
Ive had a cut in almost exactly the same spot on my foot before that didn't require surgery and I can tell you it takes a long time to come back from that type of injury.
Granted I didn't have a team of trainers to help me rehab but the ball of your foot is the worst place to have a cut. I hope he can be back by to 100% Michigan State because we could use him.
To be fair, Hall has been in a pro style offense is whole college career. He is much better suited for the spread, and Meyer has been hyping him up all off-season.
There are a few guys that have been "HYPED" since spring and none of it has showed up on Saturdays yet.......so until I see it on Saturday's it's just that HYPE
Hall is the perfect fit at RB for this Offense. Quick, shifty and builit like a brick for his size. Can't wait to have him back 100%. Maybe give him a few carries and catching opportunites and unleash him more vs UAB to get ready for conference play.
Havent seen anything out of Hall that makes me think just because we get him back, automatically we have that type of playmaker we need for this offense... Hall may be the closest we have to it this year, but he isnt a gamebreaker (like Ginn was). He is just a very good player.
I'd like to see him sit this game out, and just get a few carries and a few passes in the UAB game just to reintroduce him to live action. That way he can ease back in and knock the rust off a little bit without overdoing it in his first game back, and he can be ready to go full bore for the MSU game.
@Dirtybuck Meyer mainly hyped 3 offensive guys as his playmakers and those were Braxton, Philly, and Hall. 2 for 2 on the first two guys, don't see why Hall won't continue the trend. Not saying he will be a star, just that we are a better team with him on the field

Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite

Coaches have said that a decision would come likely tomorrow about whether or not they felt Hall should get the green light, despite medical clearance
I think we'll know by Thursday whether he'll go this week or not.
Hall should still be able to catch passes out of the backfield if nothing else, I hope.
Class of 2010
Rather have him for a few snaps than none- but would much rather have him all out in November than limping off the field again in September.
^If he's out till November you wouldn't want him to redshirt?
Nope... Need his scholarship for 2013 class...

Triv - thats pretty bold dont you think ,Marshall is going to be really really good , Hall lacks break away speed that Marshall and Elliott have
I think Triv is making a "one in the hand" statement. Lots of highly touted recruits haven't quite worked out as expected.

I think Hall is pretty solid and is better than Hyde, Dunn and Smith. He is better suited for this offense than he was running Dave repeatedly IMHO.
vacuuming sucks
Orlando buckeye hit the nail on the with what I meant by that statement.
@allday Urban has raved about Hall since spring so I'll take his word for it
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
I would prefer the staff just have hall practice and get in shape these next two weeks and have him make his debut for the MSU game
I hope he can at least play to get a few game reps. It would be difficult to work out the kinks against the D of MSU or other big ten teams.

O H I O is the Buckeye State

I would rather he be held out. If we can't beat Cal with out him we are in serious trouble.
