With all the recent talk about hydration I thought we should give a little credit to the University and their researchers that developed the most popular sports drink in the world, Florida State. Yes I know popular belief is that it was the University of Florida who developed it, hence the name Gatorade. The truth is Florida State took the lead in development and research and Florida had limited input in this rare joint effort , but in the end, before the product went public, a big name change was made. Why? Why would Florida State agree to let their rival school take credit and put their name in the product, Gator-ade? Testing showed that the public just didn't respond well with the name Florida State had been using: Seminole Fluid. And that's the rest of the story.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I see what you did there!
Remember that in the end you will be judged not by what you believed, planned or dreamed; but, by what you did.

Every time I've gone to Florida it seemed like a lot of the general population loved Seminole Fluid
Honestly, I was thinking "what a stupid post and waste of a thread..." and then you brought it home. Bravo...

I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
I love Gatorade but I wish Ohio State would develop something better... Ohio Staterade?
