Conley, a 4 star, ttun commit from Massillon, OH tweeted this weekend that he committed too early and he wanted to explore other options. He is a cornerback. Do you think Urban goes after him?

No. Bell is the last DB Meyer will have in this class. If Bell goes elsewhere, still a no IMO. Already have some stellar DBs, dont need any more.

I feel like this could happen with a lot of TTUN commits as this season progresses, assuming their season ends less than desireable and Morris continues to underwhelm.

Before I start this, I know this is detailed on some blog on this site, but I cannot find it...

I just want to confirm the number of remaining scholorships. Are there 4 or 5?

Is the thinking it's still...

Bell, Mitchell, Lewis and Johnson? and Timmon's is the guy if there is an opening?

I think we have 5 left and from what I gather the thinking is: Gibson, Bell, Mitchell Lewis, Johnson with Timmons/Quick/Foster as the maybes.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

with Klein back on the team (and assumingly on schollie) and Stewart Smith gaining a scholarship, I've got us at 79 players on scholarship right now. We are losing 15 seniors, leaving 18 open scholarships for the 2013 class before attrition & early entries to the NFL Draft. I'm guessing only big Hank leaves for the NFL, and 5 players will leave the program for whatever reason, giving us 23 open scholarships to get to 82.

the kid is good i'd take him if bell doesnt work out we could use another good corner if burrows switches to safety. he's dangerous on offense too

we are losing Howard and could possibly (I don't think so but you never know) lose Roby, so if we have the opportunity to land another CB, especially if Urban approves, I wouldn't pass it up.

i don't think the outcome of this season really affects michigan commits at all. brady hoke isn't selling michigan being back to players (that's all the fanbase and espn), he's selling accountability, family values, etc. and besides, i feel like people are saying because of how michigan performed against bama, their season is over. NOBODY in the big 10 would have fared much better, including us. they should still handle everyone in their schedule with the exception of ND, MSU, Nebraska, and OSU. Out of those 4 games, they likely won't lose all 4 of them.

as for morris underwhelming, really? he just got his 5th star according to rivals i believe, and they've had 1 or 2 games this year. he had an awful first pass of the season (telegraphed a throw that was easily picked off) but other than that he played alright. he has NOBODY to throw the ball to, so his offense will never throw the ball as much as some of the high school QB's out there with gaudy stats.
