Hey everyone
this is my first time posting here even though i have been following this site for quite some time now. me and friend are making our way down to the game this weekend and would like to know if there are people willing to let too strangers tailgate with them. both of us are around 22 years of age and so preferably a younger crew would be ideal, but honestly wouldn't mine hanging out with the elders. by the way we are willing to pay for the drinks and food. we just want to have a good time and hopefully meet new people.

Honestly, you can just get there early and start talking to people. Some of the best times I had tailgating happened because I didn't have a plan. Other than that, you can't go wrong hanging out at the Varsity Club.
Psi Omega (dental school fraternity) has a good tailgate from what I've heard.

I will be making the trip down to Columbus as well with some friends from Youngstown. What is the popular bar across from the Shoe? Is it the Varsity? I was there last year before the game and I enjoyed the indoor/outdoor drinking areas.
aight man tht area is loaded with college kids, just avoid the frats bc they blow. Yea its the Varsity Club PittBuck.
Just go to Too's (16th and High in the basement). Best dive bar on earth.

If you don't mind Bucknutz I might stop by with maybe 2 or 3 others. I plan on getting into town by 8:30. All depends on if we leave when I want or the fiancée wants. Not a far walk from 12th and High.

hahah. I will prolly go to Ugly Tuna at gateway at 7am for 25cent mugs then go over to the tailgate on 16th. Its not an actual adress but its in the courtyard of a complex and it is literally in between Indianola and Summitt on 16th. Its on the right side of 16th if your coming from high street. You will surely hear the music. Just walk around everyone will be friendly. Just keep mentioning 11W until someone (me) recognizes you.
