Florida St. was a 70.5 point favorite in Vegas and only won by 55 because the game was called due to weather half way they the 3rd quarter. Does anyone know if Vegas calls off the bets or if you're just screwed if you bet on Florida St or bet over on the points? Either way there has to be a lot of po'd gamblers out there.

Weren't they also playing with a running clock? I think they could have also come into play with the ability for the team to cover/not cover the spread. I didn't touch this game because I'd never bet on such a ridicuous spread.
They started the 2nd half with a running clock, but then they had more lightning and called it with 8 or 9 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. So what are the implications for people that bet on FSU? Is it a "tough shit" situation that the game ended early?
Class of 2010.
I think it would be a "tough shit" situation, there is no way that any sportsbook is going to give your money back, that's just not going to happen.
If many more bet on FSU not to cover than Vegas is loses so I bet it's called off or something... same with games getting called early but counting in baseball because 5 innings are completed. They probably call off the bets?

I just discovered their must be 55 minutes of action/ game time to count (for betting line purposes)
