I for one love the Buckeyes but for the last several years had a hard time watching them with a few exceptions. I have never seen a stat like this but OSU must have had the worst TD/FG percentage in ALL levels of football. Now I am watching a much better brand of football. No one can say but its just M oh Ohio because OSU struggled offensively for many years against teams that are worst than Miami.

Not remembering what ugly OSU offenses you are refering to other than last year? As I recall, the offenses Pryor ran were pretty exciting...

Not to me. Go ahead and look up how much those teams choked in the Red Zone. Im probably all alone on this one but I thought offense under Tressell was always boring. I will look up some TD/ FG stats among a few teams and share. If I am wrong I will be the first to point it out.

Can't wait until J.Hall gets back. I'm seriously disappointed in C.Hyde, would like to see some of the other backs get a couple of carries.
The offense is worth watching, but Miller definitely needs to cut down on those wounded ducks.
First game under new offense, cant ask for much more. They had some mistakes but there's no were to go but up. Good game boy's!

@upnorth. I took 3 relevant teams to compare. I began looking at other Top programs and they resemble Fla and Wisconsin. My feelings about Tressellball was correct. We matched offensively programs like Iowa and Kentucky more than we matched upper echelon teams.

Fair enough, and I do agree that this offense will be more fun to watch than Tressel ball. I just wouldn't consider the old offenses as "hard to watch". I think we all have A LOT to look forward to. It's a good day to be a Buckeye!

you can have your stats but the W's are what gets teams in the championships. Check and see what teams had better winning percentage during the Tressel era.
it was a nice win and i enjoyed watching it but dont expect to see that when the Buckeyes face better teams, unless they improve on both sides of the ball.

^Meyer had/has a higher win percentage than Tressel. So umm, yeah.
Plus Tressell teams did not look this good playing teams like THIS
They are both great coaches..both with different styles though obviously.
