We were in every game but one, which of course added to the frustration. Both seasons, ours and Arkanasa, show the role that off field issues, coaching, and leadership have in a game played by young men. PSU does too, but they also lost some players in the process that have effected the season also. (I really hope we have this tackling thing down before we get to State College!!
I actually feel sorry for the Razorback fans. They were on the upswing after increasing their wins year after year with Petrino. Their season is going down in flames and being in the SEC west isn't helping their cause. Gonna be long year for Hog fans. Soo weee pig!
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
I don't really feel bad at all. This just proves there are only a few teams in the SEC that actually deserve the hype. From the middle down the SEC is an average conference. Bama, UGA, and UF are pretty good teams right now. I'm not sold on LSU because of their weak play this weekend vs Auburn. Trust me... Down here in the south the worse the teams are the better it is for me. I get sick of hearing all the SEC talk.
You guys think John L. Smith will be brought back next year?
I really do wonder how good/bad Arkansas would be if Petrino was still roaming the sidelines and calling plays? Would he have made a difference? Would this team still be a mess?
This made me laugh so hard when I first saw it...I think John L. may have been the best but yet worst choice for Ark. after Pertrino got caugh riding dirty;-)

Smith won't be back... That will be Charlie Strong's job if he wants it. Otherwise you could see Peterson, Whittingham, TCU's coach, or maybe even Northwestern's coach get that job.
Perfect analogy for Arkansas' season, burning garbage.

Have you been to Arkansas? This headline applies in so many ways.
It would be interesting to see how Arkansas would have done with Petrino in comparison but, alas, we will never know.
We should strive to keep thy name, of fair repute and spotless fame...
(Also, I'm not a dude)
at least we know that urban has more than $800 dollars in the bank.

@ Tenn. There's no chance he'll be back next season. I honestly am surprised he's still there.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Now this is something to "SMILE!" about. I can't help but to feel kind of bad for Paul Haynes and Taver Johnson though.
