and the craziest part is Stafford doesn't even need to throw it at Calvin Johnson. He can hit the most inept WR in the hands to get yardage. 5K is a big number. Might need to bump him up the fantasy list!
what channel is it on....i have the nfl preseason pass and the game is blacked out tonight...so i assume it is either on fox nbc or espn???
they were undefeated last year and looking unstoppable and the 9ers came into thier house and punched em in the mouth...we aint scared..if we see em in the playoffs...two words..."CAN'T WAIT!"

Jimmy Smith is a pretty good corner too! Megatron is killin him!
Megatron; best WR in the game and it's not even close. New Orleans put two DBs on him in a game last year like a gunner on a punt. I've never seen anything like that. When you're bigger, stronger, and faster than anyone on the field it requires a constant double team. Brandon Pettigrew huge year and be a steal for all you fantasy wizards.
Stafford is the real deal. Loved watching him play in person.
Stafford is amazing when healthy and Johnson is so fun to watch dominate, but they won't be a real contender until they can play better D, run the ball enough to keep teams honest, and most importantly eliminate their number of penalties. They were "Raiders" bad last season.
Dan Marino did have one serious advatage that Matt Stafford does not; ISOTONERS !!
The running game should resolve itself once Best is back (and can stay concussed-free) and we see what Leshoure can do. Green showed MAJOR speed at the end of the game but I'm not sure of his overall skill. Once the D starts clicking like grosspointe said, Detroit will be dangerous (like the city already is)

Best is quickly becoming Kevin Jones 2.0! Lotta talent and is a game changer when on the field but can never stay healthy. The secondary scares me a lot but an elite pass rush can fix a lot of secondary mistakes. Delmas and Best are very important pieces to stay healthy if the Motor City Kitties wanna retrun to the playoffs.
Delmas is out for a while, and no one knows when Best will be back even though it's been almost a year, not cleared. I hope they can develop something in the run game, but they found a stud in Bentley -- steal of the 3rd round.
