Hopefully William is right, but I can't help but be worried right now. Going to see a world-renowned specialist for nothing more than a sore knee? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me... If it's "not that big of a deal" as it was being reported earlier, why fly all the way to Florida instead of going to the Cleveland Clinic?
Browns fans have reason to 'overhype' things, as you say. I am sick of this bullshit with the Browns. When was the last time we had a good season? several years ago when we lost to the steelers in the playoffs. I am overhyping this, because rooting for a perennial bed-shitter pisses me off.
Apparently, Richardson's agent group often sends their athletes to Dr. Andrews for a second opinion, so it could be no more than that. I've read he might need a minor cleanup operation. Better to do that now than closer to the regular season.

^Probably 40% of the NFL fans in Ohio. 35% Bengals, 25% Steelers. I also respect Browns fans for being the most committed (and tortured by luck, ownership, and coaching) fanbase in the NFL.
Everyone calm down. It's arthroscopic surgery to remove a particle of cartilage. It's best that they have him get it removed and be rested/healthy for the season, than have him go and play with it, and have further damage caused. He'll be back, and Taylor is recovering faster than expected.
4 weeks from now, the Brown's fans will recieve more bad news, when they must come to terms with their starting rookie 1st round pick QB having more Int's than TD's through their preseason schedule.
And on draft day Trent Richardson's career went the way of so many other promising young players: dead before it even began. "So it goes..."
This minor injury is just an excuse to joke...I had (what I think is) the same surgery to remove roughly 40-50% of my interior meniscus before a bball season with 2003 technology/procedures and was back to full speed in 3 weeks. Granted I'll probably have awful arthritis in the knee by the time I'm 30 and a knee replacement at 40. But yeah, getting drafted by the Browns ruined his career. Cursed man. Welcome to the club. Go Browns.
There are two main types of Browns fan: (1) irrationally optimistic and (2) irrationally bitter. Both show up to games, both cheer the team on, but everything that happens to the team is interpreted through one of these two lenses. No one wallows in their misery quite like a Browns fan. It's just easier on my mental health to be positive rather than not; I'd rather be hopeful than right. And hey, when the Browns fail miserably, I always have the Buckeyes.

The Booyahs are reporting it to be pretty minor and technically unrelated to his torn Meniscus, so that's good for fans of a team who think the running game still matters in this NFL.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Dude, you don't really have to be a pratt to me! I haven't said anything directly to you. And if you would like, you can talk to a cardiologist about the benefits of Creatine. I can recommend the specific one who'll tell you the risks if you like? Dr. Firstenburg at the OSU medical center. He's one of the chief cardiologists
Yes I am aware of it being in steaks and fish. I took it myself for a long time. The only problem is, it makes you look bigger than you really are. When you stop taking it or are doing 2 a days in July and August, all that water retention goes away. Yes it does work and it works very well but if you have heart problems, the added water to your body puts too much pressure on your heart.
I could understand it not being good for people with heart problems, but if you cycle on and off of it it's really not a big deal for normal healthy adults. I think it's very overrated to be honest, I don't see much difference when I'm on it or when I'm off of it.
@Buck-I.8 - I tried to sprinkle in a Kurt Vonnegut reference to raise the quality of banter if it makes you feel any better...no one noticed/cared...so it goes (I don't know if you'd consider that sinking further or raising the quality anyway). Also, thanks Tennbuckeye for teaching me the full name of AC Slater...for I have now learned something today.
Maybe when the Browns don't sell out to a Stealers guy, and waste a 1st round pick on a 28 year old system QB, and a future 2nd round pick on a kid from Baylor who never played, they will have success. I'm a fan, and I've just accepted this is the way it is. The Browns are a cursed team. Named after an innovator who they shit on, so he created another team in pure spite. At least I can die knowing we came real close in the late 80's.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
It's a sore knee... This isn't a big deal. Leave it to us Brown's fans to overhype and worry about a sore knee..
He's coming off surgery for a torn miniscus. It could just be a sore knee. But, it could be more than that. We'll see.

Yeah, well when you live in the 1960's and draft a running back third over all, injuries are the least of your worries!
No cause for panic, but no cause to brush it off as a sore knee either. You go see the ACL guru, Dr. James Andrews, there is more to it than soreness.

M Tots - He had the knee first x-rayed and evaluated by team doctors and is going to Dr. Andrews for a 2nd opinion.
This just in: Rumor is that Joe Haden is facing a possible 4 game suspension for using a banned substance.
Great. Not much need for a 2nd opinion if it's only a little knee soreness...
WKYC Cleveland reporting Haden failed offseason drug test... Banned substance = Adderall

Trent Richardson's visit to Dr. Andrews includes tentatively scheduled arthroscopic surgery to clean up loose particle of cartilage #Browns
I'm sticking with 3 games
Who cares about the browns?

@steensn I would guess Browns fans, such as myself, but call me crazy.
:) Just teasing.
Don't forget NW ohio where it is 50% Browns and 50% Lions.
Browns are cursed. Poor fans, they deserve better!

The Haden news is what scares me more, 4 game suspension for taking adderall, really?
Guys it's clearly an advantage to be too focused while playing football...
What a joke. Next they'll ban Creatine, caffeine and whey.

Considering what Creatine does to your body, they should! Your heart isn't meant to handle that much fluid retention!
A little Creatine is fine but the problem is kids see that its having such a great effect on their bodies that they take too much.
Sorry guys it's my fault...Im going to the game Friday, so I must have set off curse 2012...

Well Mario Lopez, keep taking and see how you end up when your 40!
Why are we bringing Albert Clifford "A.C." Slater into the conversation?
Look at his pic.
LMAO, I look nothing like Mario Lope you dunce. And men into their 50's take Creatine with perfect health.

I apologize if I offended you, but I know plenty about the studies of Creatine my friend. It's actually found in foods like steak.
