"...10 Iowa running backs have left before finishing their eligibility since 2008, four of which have been a result of torn ACLs."
I feel bad for Iowa, their luck with RB injuries is crazy. But, at least they have the best coach in the history of the Big Ten Conference. Ever.

Ferentz best coach in the big10 ever? What you smoking son?
Hill, who they just lost is from my home town, at least the town I grew up in. he went to school a couple blocks away from mine.. they were 4A tho we were only 1A.. and I'm about 7 years older.
haha relax, Bronamath --- I was being sarcastic
He won all of those B1G Coach of the Year awards over Tressel. God knows why.

Damn I was hoping you had some good stuff, haha. Yeah no kidding, Tressel should've won at least 6 or 7 of em.
Tressel didn't win COY because he was at Ohio State.

You should have linked directly to the hawkeyenation post, as it is the thing worth reading. http://www.hawkeyenation.com/forum/football/44730-airbhg-complete-saga.html
Freaking hilarious, and kind of sad too.
haha yes...my favorite part is: "2005. 1) Ferentz tricks AIRBHG by briefly moving Damian Sims to corner. As of 2012, Sims remains is the only scholarship running back to go four years without a major injury. "

I've always thought of Ferentz as a really solid coach who's kind of afraid to challenge himself and face the pressure of the next level (major college program etc). I'm sure he's comfortable in Iowa and there's something to be said for staying at a place you love and pressures less pressure filled job, but it's really hard to gauge greatness in any profession when you have the chance to go to the next level/tier and you don't take it. Not saying it's wrong, it just makes it difficult to compare what he does with those top coaches at the 20+ schools with real expectations of winning it all sometime soon. I've always liked playing his teams because I think he's coached way too conservative against OSU and probably should have won a few more games against us.
