Is it football season yet?

Just one of those things that makes me appreciate trying out year after year, we get videos on YouTube of our summer sessions a week before the band is even announced. What does your band get? ;) (I was in the third to last row, third from the right)
Pick up your feet, turn your corners square! And DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!!!
Whenever I'd walk near the RPAC while they were practicing on the west campus fields, I'd get chills listening to them. They really are the best damn band in the land.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
instant goosebumps.
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
when I went to tOSU, I lived in the stadium, and I moved in early, and every morning at 7am, the band would wake us up with their practice....it sucked getting up that early, but no complaints with the "alarm clock"
Some rivals think "the best damn band in the land" is an arrogant name (see BSD). We know it's hard earned and well-deserved.
I've never liked the name, but they really do make the football games what they are. (Second to you know, actual football)
One of my favorite memories at OSU is from 2006, my freshman year. The Thursday before the Michigan game (the #1 vs #2 game), I was walking back from class on a dreary day. I lived in Morrill Tower, so my way back went by the RPAC field where the band practices. Out in the rain wearing grey sweats and carrying his suzaphone, I saw that week's i-dotter practicing the strut and bow by himself in the rain. Gives me chills to think about.
