Just read that Greene will commit in October, he has narrowed it down to 6 schools including the team up north but not Ohio State. It's a shame I would have liked to see him in the S&G but Elliott is a great pickup for us, and we are loaded at RB anyway.

FWIW: OSU has been out of the picture for some time now.
I think it would be more accurate to say that Derrick Green has been out of the picture for some time now.
I think if Tress was still head coach DG would have gotten an offer and accepted last year. I think DG is an exceptional power RB and will do well where ever he lands but Urban doesn't want this kid becasue his talents would not translate to our stlye of offense. I've seen him play a few times on TV and he is a straight down hill power back with some nice speed but Urban wants guys that are shifty,fast, smaller and can play every down. Good kid and great talent but not a fit at OSU. IMO
If Brionte and Carlos are 1 and 2 on the depth chart then don't tell me this guy won't fit, because he's faster than both and just as shifty...And I say that as a fan of both guys but i would've loved to get this kid.
Derrick Green is not faster than Carlos. Brionte rushed for over 2000 yds. in Stark County last year. Neither fit Urbans offense to a T but Urbz will adjust the O to his playmakers. IMO if TOSU didnt have limited schollys he would be a Buckeye. I think he played out the recruiting process to long also. Not worried about it, Zeke is gonna be special!!
agree w/ b_p if we had all our schollies he's a buckeye, urb has made it clear he wants a power run game and this kid would've been a great power back. he went after bri'onte as soon as he got to Tosu so he will recruit big backs if they are good enough
