Thinking about spending the $100 or so to subscribe to an Insider paid football website. I guess teh big 4 would be Scout, 247, Rivals and (god-forbid) ESPN.
Does anyone currently subscribe to any of these and can offer some insight on where the money is best spent?

i subscribe to espn, but it's cheaper (say whaaat?). ~$30 / year and you get coverage on their buckeye page as well as all other insider pages. amen.
Save your $ or buy a few t-shirts to keep 11w going strong its all the buckeyes news you need !!
Schack
I'm good on paying anything for recruiting...been following recruiting pretty intensely since last year (I'm not professing Drew status or anything). Just saying if you follow some certain ppl on twitter that's really all you need and no not the recruits themselves. That I leave up to these guys here at 11W or Bucknuts or where ever. Kind of off topic but I think it's absolutely retarded that fans tweet and follow these under aged kids...kind of creepy if you ask me. Not to mention some recruits haven't even committed to OSU yet that some follow and tweet...even more weird.

I dont read anything on those sites anymore... its all here, get a few t-shirts as others have said. I even bought some stuff through a link off here because I knew I would be getting it anyways.
I've been following recruiting for about 8 years now and I've never needed one. I did a free one for a while and it wasn't worth it to pay for.
Between here and buckeyeplanet.com, I get everything I need.
Seriously though. 11W + Twitter is all you really need.
agreed, this site + twitter makes paying for information only valuable if you want to know before someone else can tweet about it...if you're that fast.
the only reason i suggested espn was in case you wanted a more comprehensive sports coverage, they have some good insider pages outside of college football that come with the money.
I subscribe to both 24/7 and Rivals. They both have quality content, and take " turns" coming out with " insider info" first. The Rivals gives you acess to their main board also. 24/7 has the edge when it comes to the posters ( roughly 10000 members) and their views and opinions. 11w in my opinion also does a great job. The only downfall to most sites is the bickering that goes on between fans who have the same buckeye passion. If you want anymore info, just ask. I think you may be able to get a "free-trial" over on 24/7. GO BUCKS
I have had both 247 and Scout. Scout is the best in my opinion. Great value for 30 cents a day. Great inside info and great place to get the stories behind some of the recruits and great access to practice and thoughts from the staff. I love 11W as well. I think they are a perfect compliment to each other.
I see the Dispatch wants $20 a month now if you view more than 10 articles a month. Are they nuts?
