It looks like Ohio State is getting the alternate uniforms from Nike again. Per Beau Bishop: "On a uni note Ohio State will be wearing a Nike "Rivalry" uniform this season, will be unveiled in September. Per ESPN."
I'm anxious to see what the design might be. The last three years haven't been too bad in my opinion, but you never know.

I hope it's the uni I saw on LandGrantHolyLand. I would prefer to wear these on the night game against Nebraska but it sounds like it will be used during the M!chigan game.

I really really want to see a black or gray uniform done for one of these....being that OSU tries to keep it honoring a former Buckeye team, I doubt that happens
Some all grey uni's with scarlet would be nice. But I guess we will see in September. I'm guessing the uni's would be the one from the poster in Urbans office on training days
The rilvary unis won't be the one in the picture from Urban's office that LandGrantHoly wrote an article about.
Those are really not a departure from the current jerseys and anytime Nike puts out a pro-combat or a "rilvary" jersey they make some significant swings with it, "have fun with it for the fans"
Like stated above, the last 3 have honored teams from the past and I would expect more of the same. However, if they are going to get away from modeling the jerseys after a previous era, it will be a significant change in the jersey not a minor tweak.
@Alex Yes! More gray! I probably sound like a broken record but I love the gray basketball unis. The football doesn't have enough gray imo. We're not scarlet and white. We're scarlet and gray damnit.
the one that is in urban's office would not be a combat uniform. In all honest, for nike to do a uniform, you know there is going to be at least a somewhat significant difference in the uniform. That looks like very minor details in that picture, too little of a change to be considered a featured event/jersey offering.

Alex,I would love a mostly blakc uniform with some scarlet and white highlights. I have always been a fan of black uni's, I think they look awesome.
I've done some investigating and I am thinking that the Rivalry Uniform might be anything from drastic to just slight tweaks. FSU, Oregon, and USC have unveiled new Rivalry uniforms at the start of the season with new Nike cleats. FSU and USC were very similar to their old jerseys. Another thing that leads me to this idea is Nike's merchandise. There are Nike shirts that say "Ohio State is Faster". Now Nike usually prints the same shirts with phrases to different teams but for this shirt I have only found 4 other schools that have this same shirt; Oregon, FSU, LSU, and USC. Now all of these schools have another chrome logo shirt that is also exclusive to these schools. To add to this Nike has a set of limited edition Lunar TR1 training shoes, they released Oregon's a couple of weeks ago. Now there are shoes for Ohio State, FSU, USC, and LSU.

Hawaii & Boston College. Does Under Armour even try? I'm about as patriotic as it gets, but this stuff is atrocious imo lol. Thank goodness OSU is w/Nike (though the Ducks stuff gets questionable at times, as well).
@LLJJGG I agree they are quite ostentatious and ugly. I think only the military academies should wear camo. Anyone wearing camo and not in the military just end up looking like this.
