Wow, I wondered if this would ever happen. I don't think he's ever mentioned OSU as one of his favorites, but he never had that offer. You'd think this would vault Ohio State right toward the top of his list now.

Is this a football or basketball offer? Is it a scholarship offer or a preferred walk-on offer like the recent FB? This just comes out of left field, except for Scout, all the services only show basketball as his sport.
Id imagine its for basketball as basketball is his sport. I knew it was only just awhile before this offer came along.
I wouldnt be suprised if he ends up being a Buckeye when all said and done.

Yes, basketball is his sport so I don't think there is any chance this pertains to football.
From what I remember off hand, Hayes had Xavier and Wisconsin at the top of his list. With the fact OSU should have playing time available very early in his career, I don't see why he would not make a decision rather quickly.

Yes, it's a basketball offer. He is a beast in basketball. I've had the privilege of watching Hayes & Loving last year, both are promising kids. I do hope Hayes comes to OSU. Hell of an athlete. He does play football but basketball is where it's at. I believe he has a football offer for Wisconsin if I'm not mistaken.
Whitmer is my alma mater (Where Kenny & Nigel Hayes attend(ed)) and being able to watch these guys blossom is just an honor. If it wasn't for Nigel, Whitmer would have never reached the state final in basketball last season, and it was a first time for the school. Here's to getting back and hopefully winning it all to see Nigel go out with a bang.
