Per ESPN Saw OSU offered 2013 WR Tony Stevens today who is committed to FSU. Would this be due to not wanting to take Quick or Gibson or Allen seems we were sitting good with all 3. Maybe a recruiting tactic to put pressure on those 3?

Stevens has legitimate interest in OSU and wants to make a visit.
IIRC, this guy had like 5000 TDs at Gridiron Kings? (against Burrows and Woodard, no less)
Also interesting because FSU commit EJ Levenberry also made noise about decommiting today.
I think there is legitimate interest from OSU for this guy. I just wonder if this means they are wanting to get 2 more receivers in this class.
Saw on Alex's twitter he's "exploring options." So was this Mike's "big" news??? This is why I listen to Alex's tweets Urbz and not Mike's. I stopped following Mike last year around Feb 1st...for a reason. Sorry man...I'm not a big fan of his. Y I stopped going to Rivals (not just bc of Mike) but bc of misinformation. I'm telling you, 11W, Bill Greene, and Kurelic are the guys I follow for a reason. Not being pushy either, just where I get my info from. Also this recruiting isn't an exact science...but neither is putting stuff out there before you know what you're saying is 100%

100% welcome the ones that are 6'4".
Wasn't Levenberry a ttup lean at one time? This may have been what Mike was referring to. Didn't he say something about it will make OSU sad, but ttun happy.
Thought scUM removed themselves from the running for levenberry anyways. Thought I read that somewhere today
Yeah they did "barring a decommitment". Actually makes me a little sad. I'd much rather see a player like Levenberry take one of their last 2 spots over Green or Treadwell.
He had already recieved an offer, the offer is now commitable
+1 Rural Meyer

It's not a ploy to put pressure on the other guys.
It doesn't mean they don't want Quick or Gibson.
They will offer you if you are good enough, plain and simple. It's a scenario, and I'm guessing, that I'm sure someone in Stevens' circles reached out to OSU about what there interest would be.
OSU evaluated and liked what they saw, thus pulling the trigger.
Well since he had so much time working against Woodard and Burrows that maybe they recruited him pretty good at the Gridiron Kings? I wouldn't put it past those two putting thoughts in his head and I wouldn't put it past Urban telling them too. I am certain Burrows and Woodard were there for a reason and probably weren't too concerned about playing their butts off. Not that they weren't trying but I bet they had a more important mission down there.
They interviewed Eli at GK, and he said he was recruiting some Receivers. I know he named Treadwell, but he may have named Tony Stevens as well. Can anybody else remember for sure?
EDIT: I believe the other name Eli mentioned was Tyler Boyd.
Love to just see one of the WRs commit soon. I like them all (Quick, Gibson, what I've seen of Stevens)...
